    I have never known anyone that can bench 400lbs. natural....Something like that takes a long time to work up too.

    I have been working out since I was about 14 off and on. I don't do it to bodybuild I just do it to be big, strong, fast, and in shape.

      Oh, well, the medical consensus is that it is not advisable to put kids under heavy weight training. Nothing more than body weight until they're 14 and then start in gradually.

      I saw a guy do a 700 raw (no shirt, no belt) bench press at the WABDL worlds last year. It was my understanding that it was the first time a natural athlete (no steroids) did a 700 raw bench in competition.

      A 400 lb raw bench is very good, certainly competition level and state record level in most places. You're absolutely right, it takes several years of serious training to ramp up to. But it's quite doable. We have boards in our gym indicating men's 300 bench club, men's 400 bench club, women's 100 bench club and women's 200 bench club.

        What I meant by natural is not saying not taking roids.......What I mean by natural is with no training. I mean like someone that has never lifted before coming in and lifting 400lbs. There are alot of people that can lift 400lbs. with just training for a while and no roids....that's the way I do it, don't need roids cuz I put the time and effort to do it naturaly. I kinda take it as a compliment when someone ask me if I am taking roids because I know they think there is no way you can lift what I lift without it........

            You mean bigginer then?

            IS you form good when you bench 400lbs? surely it isn't.

              Yes, my form is good when I bench 400lbs. That is the whole point of getting stronger.

              Let me put it to you this way........me benching 400lbs. is like what it feels like for you when you bench 120lbs.

              Do you even do martial arts Paul or do you just come in here to try and talk about working out? If you just come in here to talk about working out you can go to supplement centrals forum and talk to my buddy kaliman. He will give you some good advice but mostly the same advice I give you, but he is not as nice as me so he'll probably kick you off the site.
