Hey, Lizard, if the Doctor says that too much tea isn't a good idea, try slipping some Watercress into your salads. Watercress was in huge abundance all around Japan around the time of the Iga and Koga Ninja. Historians think that the reason why they had such good eyesight at night was beacause of the amount of Watercress they ate.

Bilberry (Vaccinium myrtillus), Ginkgo (Ginkgo biloba), Passionflower, Eyebright (Euphrasia officinalis), and Goldenseal (Hydrastis canadensis) are five other known eye ailments.

British WWII pilots had Bilberry made into a jam and claimed that it improved their night vision, giving them a tactical advantage during the night-time missions. Scientists studied the plant and found it contained bioflavonoids called anthocyanosides. The antioxidant compounds they discovered help prevent free-radical damage and capillary fragility.

Ginkgo is more for curing or aiding retinal deterioration, aside from memory loss.

Passionflower is to help if you endure frequent eyestrain, and Lewis of the Lewis & Clark expedition wrote in his diary in 1804 how he watched the Cherokee Indians create a sore-eye remedy, or an eye wash from the Goldenseal tea.

    Just a couple of suggestions.

Well you see when I drink normal tae.. I mean tae... Tea I put 5 sugars in it so I've had to cut down because all the sugar is bad for my teeth.

When the british invented Radar they started spreading rumours about carrots being good for seeing at night so that the germans would think that was why the british pilots were doing better in the dark.

Actualy carrots aren't good for seeing in the dark, they do contain a vitamin that if you don't get enough of you get eye problems but that's not the same thing.

But rumours about carrots being good for night vision still persist...

Basicly even if the carrots and bilberry jam did help the pilots, it can't have been that effective because people don't do it any more. The main aim was to fool the germans so they wouldn't find out about radar.

You could always just get real ballsy and put a straw in the tea, trying to get it all straight down your throat in one shot... Yeah...that sounds like a good idea...

First off genetics did not have any thing to do with his physique. And recent studies in men's health magazines proves that green tea with ginseng does help you work out harder and longer. And if chinese medicine is a load of crap, why is there such a high demand for accupuncture? If you punch somebody in their temple whats going to happen? they're going down, temple is a pressure point. And accupuncture utilizes certain pressure points in the body for beneficial gains. After all this is because the nerves in the body are all interconnected with each other. I'm sorry, but China has been around doing what they do for thousands of years. Not much changes over there because they've found a groove that they feel they function best on. If your culture has been around for a long time and has something that works, your gonna stick with it. One of Bruce lee's first art's was Wing Chun, which is kung fu. Kung fu is the anscestor to karate. And if you do your homework right Bruce Lee died because of an allergic reaction with an ingredient in medicine he took for a headache. I believe his diet played a tremendous role in his physique. Believe it or not, he was frail as a child. I don't see any men eating burgers their whole lives on T.V. celebrating their 90th birthday. You don't get cut like that naturally. Yes if you work out all day, not just lifting weights, Bruce did loads of exercising. When he traveled he rarely brought clothes with him, he brought equipment. He said he can always buy clothes when he gets where hes going. He was an exercise fanatic. Don't go off criticizing other people about things you don't know that much of yourself. If someone wants to know what Bruce Lee's diet was, let them aspire, to become better at what they do. If what his diet was helps motivate them, to get better, then Bruce's message did not go unheard. I believe Bruce would want to inspire people to become more than what they are. If he was alive today(which is obvious he's not,(For those who think their smartasses)He would seriously look down on you for how ignorant you are. He probably wouldn't tell you, but he would hope that one day you'll learn.

no but there was an add of a guy who ate sausage and waffles nearly everyday and lived to be over 100%

Lifespan according to recent studies is mostly the result of genetics. Also physique is also largely genetic, endomorph, ectomorph and mesomorph. Each have different genetic components. Each require different diets and different means to achieve workout goals.

As for the temple being a pressurepoint, just because a pressure point lies over a weak spot in the bodies structure does not mean that accupuncture works. and Annecdotal evidence that everybody is doing it so it must work is a logical fallacy. Also appealing to tradition is another logical fallacy.

                        True.

Bad diets can cause health problems in the long-run if a person has heart disease, diabetes etc. in their genetic makeup.

I think there is merit in a good diet. There was a study in Japan on the correlation of general health and consumption of fastfood. I believe the more fastfood they ate, the lower their life-expectancy and increase in health problems. The article was published in National Geographic not too long ago.

Have you ever been to an accupuncture office?........OK, here is an analogy-type annecdote to compare what I said. What If every person in the world does and enjoys things like sex?........Does sex work? Because "everybody is doing it so it must work."........Why is appealing to tradition a logical fallacy? Did you listen to your father growing up? Yes, because he listened to his. Would you want your kid to disrespect you? I think not, you'd want him to respect you the way you did your father. Why is that? I think it's a simple form of tradition. To anyone who "does away" with traditional things, the simplest things in life that you take for granted are based on tradition. You just can't escape it.

The fact that you don't know, and don't even seem to understand the concept, says it all.

What don't I know? How would I not know about tradition, unless your implying certain traditions of other cultures, like those of Asian cultures. Which would be careless to assume that I'm not asian. No, I'm not asian, but that doesn't mean that I don't know about other cultures, and their traditions. I also get the concept quite well. You on the other hand I'm not so sure gets the idea. I asked a question in response of eXcessiveForce's reply. The answer should come from him seeing how that is who the question was directed to. If you would like to answer the question rather than quoting the question and putting something that doesn't even resemble an answer, go right ahead.

If you've read any threads in this forum, you would know trying to talk sense into jubaji is beating a dead horse. He's only here to try to make people feel stupid so he gets some warped sense of superiority. Also, he likes men's penis' in his butt.
