I train for speed and power. I do lots of plyometrics and interval training. I know lots of guys that are alot smaller then me I am still faster then.

and that last comment was incredibaly ignorant. I knoe people in their late 50s that have done multiple cycles and are fine. If you knew anything about streiods you would knwo the most common side effects are from estrogen trying to adjust the high levels of testosterone back done. So therefore you take anti estrogens such as chlomid or nolvadex for post cycle therapy, this will clear up any reoccuring post cycle hair loss, gyno, deepened voice etc
as for testicle shrinkage. HCG shots will take care of this easily.
Please, enough with these unknowledgable post upon things you know nothing about. Ive never done steriods, and probaly never will, But I know enough not to bash things based on purely what "someone else told me"....

    Wow.

    Just... wow.

So much to comment on, but why bother, you seem to have pretty strong views and thoughs, so more power to you. This is america, everyone is free to believe what they want.

actually I did a couple months of research for someone close to me who was planning on doing steriods, I originally was against it, but after lots of research I concluded people get al these ****ed up side effects from improper use.
taking 100 grams of diabonal tabs for 8 weeks will probaly in fact **** up your body, wich so many people seem to do anyways
If this is what you have to argue with please continue. and please, I know your going to college for excercise physiology, so please tell me you can take a stance against this with more resources then what you read in your college textbook bro...

          Yes this is true

steriods are illegal for a reason

They are illegal b/c to many morons were just taking them without proper direction or background info on the methods
or side effects at different dosages.

There for a lot of dim-wits were dropping dead from there own stupidity.

You see there is an awful lot of stupid americans like yourself that know nothing about a subject and claim to know all.

They end up in the ER with a their liver shut down, Or a heart attack.

This is why they are illegal, not because they are mind altering drugs like cocaine,LSD, et cetera so to speak.

A good example of this is Ephedra witch is for the most part harmless to healthy idividuals, but will be banned or the insurance costs are so high that manufactures are simply dropping it from their product lines all together.

All this b/c some jerk wants to take three times the normal dose b/c more is better and then go and run in 100 degree weather
and knows dam well he has high blood pressure.

          give me a break.

            thank you

yes the ephedra thing friggin pisses me off, Ive been taken 25mg ephedra and 200 mg caffiene stacks for a while and im fine, But also I have been in excellent shape for a while and I get regular checkups and blood test to make sure my body is in top condition. But retards decide to triple the standard dosage or combine it with ephedrine and they die.
Also im sure the lobbying power of big pharmaceutical companies has alot to due with it. I bet when they ban it it will go straight to prescription, cause lets face it, ephedra is the best legal fat burner on the market.

More resources? I only take steriod advice from one person, and that's RJD2.

this thread is retarded and I won't reply anymore.

                  cause you dont know shit.
wich is the problem with what college is teaching our phys related students and the same thing with all these dumbass certified trainers I see having there clients lockout every excercise and doing tricep kickbacks and shit.

please you have told me 2 that having a pro stance on steriods is stupid (basically).

So please back it up with some sort of arguement.....

actually If you had half a brain you would see I have never took rodis and I dont plan on it either, maybe if all of a sudden I platued and I tried every other method to get out of it only to realize I have reached my "genetic potential", then just maybe, But anyone with a good amount of knowledge in strength training should know theres along way you can go without them.

as for creatine, yes I realize we do not know long term effects.

But for steriods, then you have just made another ignorant comment on them. If you knew shit then you would know that steriods have been around long enough to know the potential long term effects......and how to combat and prevent them from happening.

But you continue to make uneducated comments on things you obviously know nothing about, I saw you post a link for bodybuilding .com in another post. There are many very knowledgabe bros in the forums there that can help sort you out. check out www.elitefitness.com and www.anabolicminds.com
                    and Anabolics2002/2003.

please come back with a suitable arguements if you wish to continue this.

Can you tell me that all the prolonged steroid users out there that have gone about it wisely, not overused, combated sideeffects and all that shit, turned out ok in the end? Or most of them? Where are the studies on this shit. You can post as many links to those body building sites but that fact is those guys use creatine and some use steroids and why would they knock them if they're users? Of course they would support them, its called biased research.

well is anyone here trying to be a bodybuilder? No, but I see plenty of uses for a cycle or 2 in the MMA world. And a couple of cycles excpecially wont hurt anyone who takes all the proper precautions, wich I will not get into....

Water retention isn't good if I am trying to lose weight for wrestling.... also.... Being a wrestler I have to have explosive muscles but also tons of endurance.... you try making it through a 3 hour wrestling practice in a 100 degree room.... So personally, I say no to creatine.... but if it's your thing, go ahead. I am loading up on protein right now, but I don't really want to bulk up to much, that just makes you fat when you get old and lazy.... and yes someday I plan to sit on a boat and eat hot dogs when I turn 50.

                            try swole v12
                            it contains taurine
                            tricreatine phosphate
ariginine ketoglutarate (active ingredient in NOZ)
                            beatine

the tricreatine eliminates water retention and upset stomach. Ive heard excellent things about this product, like instant strength increase and amazing pumps, this seems like a killer product to increase performance in anaerobic activities. Im Definetely giving it a try in a couple weeks....

we don't know creatines long term effects so why not try tricreatine and other chemical variations of it as well

well we know the short term effect, and it is increased muscle endurance, and Id rather take the chance and perform as good as possible while in my prime peak physical condition, then not take it and know I could do better.

DO you drink beer hashpuppet? do you eat fast food? how about ingest any trans fatty acid? we know the long term effects of trans fatty acids and people continue to eat them, same with alchohol drinkers and same with people who eat carcigenic greasy fried foods. Yeah ill take my chance with creatine and say **** all these other things......

BTW how the hell you gonna recommend protien, creatine and glutamine in another thread and then come in here with all this anti supplement bullshit? you are very hypocritical and I dont not see the reasoning in your arguements....
