I was watching the DLH/Mayweather 24/7 on HBO where Mayweather says that he has been calling out DLH for years. Is this true?

Yes it is. Since his father began training him.

Where do you guys get your information? I follow boxing pretty closely (at least I thought I did) and I've never heard some of the stuff you guys are talking about. What are your sources?

All you had to do is watch Floyd's post fight ring interviews for the last 2-3 years and you'd have seen him mention DLH. You didn't have to do a shred of investigation. Just watch the fights and listen to what the fighters have to say afterwards.

DLH is a chicken. So much so, that Chicken has become his moniker in several boxing circles. He could have met Floyd at 147lbs(welterweight), as he had announced that he was going to go back down to that weight anyway. However, once Floyd defeated everyone in his way and smashed his way through the ranks, DLH wanted to fight at jr middleweight. Floyd will be the smaller man regardless, but is more than willing to take on the challenge despite DLH having years to get comfortable at that weight.

The truth is that DLH can't take it to the body. If he were to try to make 147lbs Floyd would have eaten his body alive with sheer punishment reminiscent of Gatti. DLH needs this extra weight to pack a harder punch and to absorb the body attack he fears after Hopkins KO'd him with a well placed bodyshot.

That's what real students of the science know.

Yeah, I do remember him calling out a bunch of people during the post-fight interviews but I never really know which is just sh*t talking and what actually makes it to the table. You know what I mean and I'm not just talking about DLH or Mayweather. It's to call out people when you know that your camps will never really compromise enough to get the fight signed. Just a thought...

I don't like the fact that a guy with that much talent, ability, and skill would fight in the relatively lackluster style he has so often fought. When I see a guy that outclasses opponents as easily as Floyd so often does, I want to see things like the clinics Roy Jones Jr. used to put on! I want to see a human highlight film! But as was the case with Baldomir and several others, Floyd tends to play it safe and do "just enough."
Because he doesnt' care what you or anyone else wants to see. I respect that. He's a clever and sensible fighter. Why put 100% in all the time? Thats bad tactics man. Always good to reserve when you can don'tcha think?.

Kermit is a true hater as demonstrated here, but as a perfomer he's still loved by many.

He's got the right idea for home defense.

These guys are putting their lives on the line when they get in the ring, what others wanna see should be the last things on their minds when they're fighting.

I didn't have to pretend to know the boxers intimately to make a solid assessment, medic06. So you were right to give Mike Brewer the buzzer.

Amen to that. No boxer has given 100% in every single one of their matches. That's what tune-ups are for. You'd think Brewer would know that, but he's a hater, so even if he did the hate blinds him.

                              Nope. Try again.

I hope deeply, and in my heart of hearts that Oscar beats the daylights out of Floyd. I really hope he knocks him out, through the ropes, and breaks his jaw in about six places. I have said it before, and I don't mind repeating. I don't like Floyd Mayweather as a person, and I don't like the fact that a guy with that much talent, ability, and skill would fight in the relatively lackluster style he has so often fought.
awarded you a VIP seat at the next hater's ball, right next to Silky Johnson, Pitbull, and BuckNasty. The sum total of all our post can't match the amount of venom contained here in your first paragraph.

                              HATER!!!!!

                                Wooooooooo!

Medic06 brings the fire and the smackdown!

And it was a smackdown because obviously medic06, like myself, realizes that nothing hits harder than a man's own words.

                                Kudos.
