What tha hell was that guy thinking? Trying to defend against a grappler?!? Even a really bad grappler!?!? He must have the nads of an elephant or something. Doesn't he realize the power a grappler has over a practitioner of a Chinese art? I mean, he's lucky he didn't spontaneously combust, morph into some unidentifiable life form, or get tranported to some other dimension at the mere THOUGHT of going against "The Grappler"! Good thing that was a "staged" event or that could have been a rather gory video! Whewwwww!!

Tang Soo Do for those who dont know =
60% Soo Bahk
30% Northen Chinese
10% Southern Chinese
TSD is both a hard and soft style, derriving hardness from Soo Bahk, and soft flowing movements from Northen Chinese systems.
edit:I cant belive i bought into this ^lies, lies. TSD is shotokan with a Korean name and an emphasis on hip movement.

I think he is making two points there, that people seem to think Grapplers are unbeatable or is supreme, which sadly is right in SOME peoples cases and that that technique could actually work, im not totally against him there either, it is possible to avoid a taketown beleive it or not using that technique. Although it is staged thats the only way to show its effectiveness without wasting a hell of a lot of time looking for a brilliant grappler.
Care to disagree, im not too bothered thats my opinion

Damn, that's right! How could I forget?!?! "If do right, no can defend!" Come on, you've obviously wrestled before. Are you syaing that everytime someone tried a single/double leg takedown you lost the match? That there was nothing you could do to stop it? Really? I think it's great that you think wrestling and grappling are the greatest arts in the world, but many will disagree with you. Getting upset all the time is gonna give you an ulcer.
I've already said the guys form was crap, what else do you want?

sorry thought you were serious,
peace.

Where have you seen anyone say that? Anyone? And what does your bizarre little bitch session have to do with the question I asked you? You seem like you are just dying to react to something no one has claimed.

But it's basically the same question you always ask whenever this topic is discussed. It's a question you already know the answer to. If he had executed the move properly (we called it a chicken wing in school) instead of that half assed attemp, the move would be effective against someone going for your legs. It's a basic counter, but then you already knew that. Does it always work? No. Does it work sometimes? Yes. Does any move always work? No
Sorry if my having a little fun has bothered you so much. I'll try to tone down my enjoyment to suit you. I stated guite clearly, twice on two different threads, that I was being sarcstic, but you continue to be antagonistic for some reason.
