wow, my instructor when he perform his NgoChoKun(GoCho) salutation, his leftpalm-rightfist is done in the right side of the rib then held both in the front........ while the leading feet toe is touching the floor.....
while when he perform his ChiDianBun salutation, his leftpalm-rightfist is done in the right side of the head - ear level, then held both in the front....... while the leading feet toe is pointing upward......
and....
my instructor before he execute the set pattern of NgoChoKun, his both open hands is held at his right side of the body......

I have so far seen other ngo cho kun version, GrandMaster Chee, Master Lo Ban Teng, China`s version & Beng Kiam version.
I would like to make a homemade video (vcd) ngo cho kun version of Kong Han. That would include forms, practical application of technique, techniques & training for san shou & weapons application.
Forms from sam chien to si stat. And see if anybody would be interested to distribute it for sale or reedit them to look more professional and all proceeds go to Kong Han Athletic Club.

NCK's lineage today is hard to research on especially in China. Because NCK is now used to represent other systems as well. So they can be considered NCK even though they taught different system like Pe Ho or Tai Zu. So when you got unlucky and search for a lineage you'll ended up with a different lineage instead from a different system, sad.
About Lo Ban Teng, I read the Hokkian Siauw-Lim website. My understanding is that Lo Ban Teng was the student of Yu Chiok Sam one of the earliest student of Chua Giok Beng. Lo Ban Teng (which at first did not know who he really was) try to fight Yu Chiok Sam and ended up losing quickly. Lo Ban Teng would later on meet and learn with a lot of Ten Tigers of Ngo Cho Kun to name some there is Yu Chiok Sam which is mentioned in the site as Yoe Tjoen Gan (according to the site he was the bodyguard of Chua Giok Beng), Lim Kiu Lu which is mentioned in the site as Liem Kioe Djie, and Wei Tian Pa which is mentioned in the site as Goei In Lam.
Interesting point....
Lim Kiu Lu was the master of Kong Po Chiam which was the master of Lo Yan Chu the Konghan's founder. Ngo Cho Kun's lineage has a huge family what extends towards the whole Eastern Asian continent this includes Fukien province, Hong Kong, Singapore, Indonesia, Philippines, Vietnam, Burma, Malaysia and Japan.

no..there are people still doing un adulterated nck in china. namely kuntaw ok's son and his students namely to yong etc. the Konghan/Bingkiam lineage is also raw and unadulterated. it looks very much like it was many many years ago. so is the ko nai king and indonesian(la ban ting) boys. although some may add a bot of something but still its still nck at its most simples and deadliest...i have seen some lineages which practice nck but it looks a bit diff but its not right to discredit them. their teachers may have thought them a modified version which every master has the right to do so...cheers

From what I observed in my school, NCK is always taught raw and unadultered through the forms. Some students get more attention and hence instruction on the correctness of the movements. However, it is very interesting to see how the fighthing methods vary according to the students' characters. Some are more like slugger and move forward and a bit backward like in sam chien using direct attacks. Some focus more on the right or left steps (sa ga ho) to counter and use joint technics. Some more aggressive, some more counter-minded. Ngo Cho Kun's seemly simple forms have so many derivatives capable being used for the real applications; that's the beauty of it.

yes i am replying to ur post
no,im not specifically saying that ur discrediting anyone. i posted that for everyone reading these posts. as people sometimes tend to discredit others for little or no reason at all. i read an aweful arguement in another thread about whos pedigree is better than whom.
the goal of the international wuzuquan union was to unify all NCK lineages regardless of origin. as it was started by the late great Master Lokinghui. and now headed by master yap ching hai.

I do not think there is an official website.
There is a conference held every year around October/November. Usually it is held in Quanzhou, but last year it was held in Kuala Lumpur. I think this year's conference is to be held in Quanzhou again?

As for the location, as far as I know this year the conference is not being held in Australia. Last year's conference was held in Kuala Lumpur in honour of the late Grandmaster Chee Kim Thong. As far as I know the conference is in Quanzhou again this year.

Attendance is by invitation only by the federation, as long as your club is recognised by the International Nan Shaolin Wuzu Union, your instructor/master should receive information from China regarding the event.
Preliminary details indicate that the conference is being held in Quanzhou this year between 17th and 20th November, there may also be an additional event.
