well...luckily, my skinny ass doesn't have to worry about applying that much weight to the knife.
What angle would you have to get at to break the knife anyway? On his rips? I know in a real fight you don't have much time to try for accuracy, but, I mean...damn, there's a lot of open space to stab without having the knife get levered the wrong way behind bone. (wouldn't that also indicate that your superimposing your wrist?) By the way, if it's a stabbing motion, why leave the knife in for the "force of two men to leverage...p=f x a...bla bla"....wouldn't it be better to thrust and immediately pull out... (don't take that sentence out of context)
...but really, if I'm just pumping a knife into somebody for self defense...couldn't a nail, or even a pen work???
If the guy has friends around...I think the slight probability of me breaking a 4 dollar knife is the last of my worries. Shit, realisticly, I'd probably either deploy it after I'd been hit stab stab stab stab stab..run, or brandish it to buy time before it got physical and then RUNNNNNNNNNNN!!!!
There is no rule that once I stab the bejesus out of the dude that I have to stay and finish the fight...I'm not a military guy or a law enforcement officer, so I can just assume, hey, to hell with him, I'm out.
