How many of you carry weapons?

weapons are needed, i would rather carry a weapon and end up not having to use it, than need one and not have one, tons of people are armed on the streets your at a dissadvantage if your unnarmed, i dont like killing people, but if somebody wants to take my life or my family/friends i will kill, and feel no guilt about it, im never the attacker but i will slit throats and shoot faces if im provoked in a life or death situation, hope i dont have to hurt too many more people but life is life and no doubt im goign to have to harm more over the years, 90% of people like trouble round here, so if they find it its there own fault,


i have tons of weapons, guns, swords, daggers, knives, blunt weapons, staffs, maces, axes, sticks, nunchaka, escrima weapons, training bokkens and sticks, spear, kwan dao, gim sword, shurikens, dao sword. lots more, oh yeah and a nice walking cane that i made with a sharp notch on the end, nice legal weapon.

i agree with the defense of your family being worth taking another human's life. but why carry a weapon? im not gonna take my little cousin to a fair and keep a fuckin gun in my pants just in case anyone wants trouble. i just wont allow anyone the chance to inflict any damage before i take care of it. weaons do nothing but bring more weapons. pluss.... read your own signature.

And I'll tell you something, any man facing a life or death fight with an armed assailant would rather have a gun than balls anyway - though it helps to have both.

Weapons are sort of funny, to use it for self defense you need the weapon itself, the technical ability to employ the weapon and most important of all....THE WILL TO USE THE WEAPON!!

i have seen people fold rather than fight because actually getting that 400 dollar custom fighting knife BLOODY didnt seem so cool in real life

you can have all the weapons in the world, if you dont have the skill and will to use it, youre still unarmed in my opinion

okay man, can you explain to me how the bat in the car serves as an equalizer? I often hear guys talk about keeping weapons in the car for "equalizers". Yet no one can can explain the time frame they acess this equalizer. Can you? See if you go get it later, its for revenge...if you bring it with...you better expect to use it...and hope the other guy didnt bring a gun in his waistband as an equalizer.

MILWAUKEE, Wisconsin (AP) -- The wife of a man yanked from his car and brutally beaten by a mob of young people called on the community to stop the violence and for parents to control their children.

As many as 15 youths punched, kicked and jumped on McClain after he honked his horn for them to move out of the street, police said. It was the latest in a string of mob beatings in the city since 2002.

Several mob beatings have taken place in Milwaukee's inner city in recent years. In 2002, more than a dozen people, mostly boys, chased a man through the streets and beat him to death with shovel handles, rakes and tree limbs.

A man with schizophrenia died after being beaten and robbed by a group in July 2004. Six teens were charged; one was convicted, charges against four were dropped and one is awaiting trial.

Four days after that attack, a 14-year-old boy was kicked, punched and hit on the head with a piece of lumber after he exchanged words with a girl. He was in a coma for two weeks.

Also that summer, four brothers were beaten by a group armed with bats, bottles, sticks and socks stuffed with canned food.

These are reasons why we should always be ready to fight and defend ourselves with what ever means.

Honking on a group of people can easily escalate into a fight, we should not be too ignorant to think that those people will just politely move aside.

Empty hand fighting against a large group will not work, always have a weapon in hand and know how to use it and this include using your vehicle....its either them or you.

I carry a knife but I've been carrying a blade of some kind ever since I was 13 years old. A knife is a wonderfully usefull tool and a potentially life saving ( or taking) weapon. I see no reason why a sufficiently trained individual should not carry a blade. I'm not advocating that people carry around knives actively searching knife encounters, however combine the fact that it is a usefull tool with the fact that in the hands of a trained individual it can be an efficient weapon I see no reason to not carry one.
