When a fight is reported, the police come to break up the situation and find out the details. In this case, these two guys wanted money and I was trying my best to get away from the situation. They attacked me, and I put them down. We were all taken to the station where they fixed me up a bit as I was bleeding down the back of my pants, and took statements from each one of us. I told them it seemed like they were on drugs as their eyes were glazed, they had admitted to wanting the money for drugs, and pain compliance wasnt working too well on them so i had to go a bit further and dislocate. the police tested them for drugs, and it came back positive for crack. the state then prosecuted, and they were put away.
That's a lovely story. Why did the police feel the need to tell you the results of the test?
They were confirming my part of the story where I believed they were on drugs, so therefore I wouldn't get charged with excessive force. Seems fairly obvious to me.
38 isn't geriatric either, I'm willing to bet as old as he is Joe Lewis can still kick some tail, and Gene LeBell could tap out just about any man out there today.
Well, you seem so concerned with what I think but don't share anything at all with what you think, so it seems somewhat one-sided to me that you attempt to pick apart much of what I say yet offer nothing up for criticism in return. And nothing I have offered is fact, I have said from the start it is opinion, you're just choosing to interpret it the way you wish.

While they are sure tough old guys, I wouldn't bet my money on either of them against a good young fighter in his prime. Would you?

You need to take more care in how you express yourself. You use the words "I know" and "I'm sure" where you should be using "I think", "I suspect", or even "I believe".
Anyway, you still haven't told me what it is you want to know.

I'd put my money on "Judo" Gene any day of the week. And the only reason it sounds fishy to you is because you've never been in a situation like that
As for your opinion, why you think my friend Mr. Liu would not be able to take down the average NHB fighter would be a good one, as well as why you think my self-defense story is "fishy" when you've offered plenty of evidence that you've never experienced one yourself? How old are you is another good question, as if you think 38's old and claim as much styles as is written underneath your profile, I'm willing to bet you're still in the Dragon Ball Z mindframe.
Find it odd if you choose to, anyone reading your questions and attitude regarding such things will see it plain as day. And yeah, I will have fun betting on Gene, having been to a few of his seminars and seeing him in action, I wouldn't doubt he'd win just about any encounter he'd get into.

Once again, I never proposed that he couldn't. I merely pointed out that you have utterly failed to make the case that he could.
As for your story, most cops I know would not release the drug test results of an on-going case to unauthorized people. Could screw the admission of that evidence if it went to court. For myself, after fights (if I was drunk and/or stupid enough to hang around) I have found it much more likely that a simple statement is taken on the spot (or at the hospital), contact information taken, and "now get the hell out of here" than a TV-esque drive 'down to the station'. Your story may be true, it just sounds a little fishy to me.
