Jubaji, I was in Tokyo for two years, and in Kanagawa prefecture for the remainder (Kawasaki city and Chigasaki (about thirty minutes south of Yokohama). I was doing a mix of teaching and sales.

I lived in Setagaya-ku, Higashi-Matsubara (close to Shimokitazawa, between Tokyo and Meiji Universities on the Inokashira line) (a year and a half); Shibuya-ku, Sasazuka (closer to Shinjuku than to Shibuya, on the Keio line) (five months); and Shibuya-ku, Tomigaya (close to Yoyogi-Hachiman station on the Odakyu line, a month).

Nah, I was an English-ho. The company took 85% of the lesson fee, and my bonus for a successful sale was the same (about $15) if the client bought $1000 worth of lessons or $10,000 worth of lessons.
