maybe there were no rules, but maybe they dont know how to knee or kick or grapple, either way someone like bas rutten or vitor belfort could beat them lol.

Boxing won't do that.
The guy weighs 300 pounds it wouldnt be wise to fight someone with a 100 pounds on you and has a solid base and solid footwork. How would you take take him down look how balanced he his. Even if you were a good grappler, with the weight and aggressivenss he would over power your submission attempts and just rip you into pieces. Look at him taking chin shots that have no effect on him.
Here's a good example Mike Tyson doesnt know BJJ, do you think you could beat him in a street fight?

exactly. I seriously doubt a 170 pound BJJer could take this guy. apart from the fact that if he hit them they would probably be KTFO instantly, the guy is HUGE. you DO NOT just shoot in on a guy with that much of a weight advantage. you can try, but dont expect him to fall over. I have shot in on plenty of people in my time and the bigger they are, the harder it is to get them to fall. that guy has a damn solid base- he isnt going anywhere.

I think it is bullshit. Ofcourse fight does look real, but with such eye you'd be damn shocked to jus' walk around. You pause your player on that shot, maybe you'll see something. Coz I think I saw damn eye under that shit

I believe its a bare knuckle fight, because if it wasn't, the other guy would have tried to kick or do something after that first combo. No way in the world he would have squared off with just the hands again with that guy. The guy in the white shorts probably was a ama. boxer(golden gloves), the other guy probably was just someone who knocked out a couple people, after parties, from his hood ala Deebo from Fridays. Imagine this, what if some instructor could find that guy in the white shorts and teach him some grappling moves. With his boxing skills, grappling moves, strength and fighter(forget that killer)attitude, just imagine.

yeah maybe royce gracie can take him. because, by default, that means everyone else in the world who does bjj is as good as he is. and I dont remember him fighting someone with such a huge weight advantage.

the 2 guys are fighting for money in one of there homies backyard. theres like 3 grand on the fight i think. thats why the one dude who got his face messed up stopped and said the bigger guy wins. i think it was some kinda attempt at a publicity stunt by the mexican guy in hummer to promote his record label, cause he mentions it at the end. he just paid some homies to fight in the backyard for some money.

another thing i wanted to bring up is i was watching bumfights 1 and 2. there was alot of footage in those movies of people fighting in real life. although in some of the fiights, the producers paid people to fight, there were alot of fights that they just happned to witness and video tape. it was interesting to watch normal people fighting. what i noticed was most people are very sloppy. there punches were usually very wild. most of the fights took place with both oppopnents standing up and duking it out, i dont think i saw any grappling. there was this one scene though were some kid does 3 double leg takedowns in a row to some other kid that was trying to fight him. that was cool

All BS aside, I dont think he was 300lbs maybe 275. Either way, if the rules were boxing based only, I wouldnt fight him. Actually, for the record, you better be damn good to fight anyone like that. I'm 6' and 200lbs. No way I could go straight up with him. I've been in street fights with dudes that out weight me but none of them were that balanced or skilled in any MA. Stick and move, stick and move. That probabaly wouldnt work either. The other guy stuck him in the face 3 times cause he let him and it didnt do anything butt piss him off. Guess thats why we learn weapons too!

Ikken is right, maybe a Gracie could take this dude. There is a clip of Rickson beating a guy probably this dudes size, by he's Rickson f*%king Gracie. Do you really believe u could grapple with this cat? Either you think your skills on the ground are on par with the gracies or you are out of your mind. There is probably a 99.9% chance that your first shoot attempt will fail against a guy that big with an obviously solid base. Let us not forget the little matter of him being obviously skilled with his hands and capable of adapting to the situation(aka pelting you in the face with rights and lefts on your second shoot attempt).

The only chance in hell that you would have is if you are lucky enough to have found a guy that has absolutely no understanding of grappling and you are able to take him down on your first shoot. Ten years ago you may have gotten that lucky, but now almost everyone is aware bjj so I don't think you would be that lucky.

I'm not hating on you, I've studied bjj and love the art, but you have to be hella skilled to handle a 130 lb weight difference against a skilled opponent.

                            1) You don't know someone has "an obviously solid base" just by looking at them.

                            2) You assume everything involving grappling will start with a leg shot.

Not sure if you guys read the other thread about this video, but it IS a real fight for 3k. Do an internet search for Kimbo Slice, and you'll find an interview with him, etc.

He spent something like 10 years in the pen (for something he didn't do, of course ), and said he'd been beaten a number of times in there.

He's a real peach. Miami porno site supports him. He acts in some of the gang bang movies. However, as he himself so eloquently put it: "A nigga gotta eat."

He does suport his disabled Mom with his porn and backyard fight income, so I guess that wins him a point or two on the human being scale.

If you browse some of the other forums, you'll read where he's turned down several fights with anyone that's had a pro fight, or even "too many" amateur ones.

Not to say he isn't a bad MF, but he's by no means the _baddest_ MF out there.

                              Anywho...

                                1. At no point during the fight does this guy appear to be off balance, even while throwing punches. I've trained in various arts(bjj and boxing included), so yes I can tell good balance when I see it. You can tell if someone has good balance the same way you can tell if they are a good kicker, puncher, grappler etc.

                                2. If not a shoot to the legs, then what? We are talking bjj, not a well balance mma guy. As quick and obviously powerful as this guys hands are if you stay upright moving in for hip tosses and the like you will blasted in the face and knocked out. Again, we are talking a 170lb bjj guy vs. this dude, and a 170lb guy wouldn't be able to stand up to 1 or 2 flush techniques from this guy.
