Well I have been practicing this for a good 3 weeks now and it seems to be working well know I went to this MMA achool called Evolution I dont train there so much as a i know the guys who teach there ground class and there shoote class. I worked with them, we traded knowlegde of there ground and My kick boxing this is how they let me train there for free, anyways for the first week I was getting pollverised by the shoote and other take downs but i kept it up and kept on training my jab and foot work especially my push shuffel and after the second week I would say about 50% the time i could get away from the shoote and after the 3rd week It was close to 80% I kept track. and after the forth it was around 95% of the time as long as a got my jab and my foot work down and more importantly I learned how to feel it out and sence when they came in I tried it with 6 guys from there just to make sure it was not just one guy i was getting used to. and if things did go bad i always had the sprawl. Actually they told me i should fight at there club I was a little flattered but I said i would train with there fighters but i dont want to fight I used to box and I did not like to get my faced punch even when i won also i had a bad case of butterflies in my stomach before every fight. but yeah i think this approach works really well.
