hmmmm nice point boarspear i think that would hurt like a bitch but the position u described seems to be very unlikey to happen and i dont think id just be leaning over like that....i have sparred full contanct numerious times with everything goes rules true vale tudo style, bites, eye gouges, small joint locks...the works and this might be just because i have an extremely high pain tollerence for that stuff but none worked on me...i worked with numerious boxers karate bjj and just untrained people with that and not one were able to cause any damage with that stuff (besides from a few puncture wounds) but then again this might be just me......one of my partners did this and went for an armbar n got bit on his leg n tapped...hes big to like 6'1 220 so hey lucky me i guess .
you are saying "I don't believe in Dim Mak, but I do believe that their are vulnerable targets on the human body"
Kind of like saying "Grappling is effective, but all that Judo ne waza is BS"
No, I'm saying I don't believe in all the BS that goes along with Dim Mak. Can you name me any striking art that *doesn't* teach how to hit vital points?
So what sets Dim Mak apart? Shit like "Dim Mak can teach you a point that if you press it they can't use their leg" "Dim Mak teaches you how to disrupt your opponent's chi, it's the opposite of acupuncture" Touch of death bullshit like that.

You are leaning over for demonstration purposes If you tried it standing up you would either backpedal away from the pressure or fall backwards if you leaned too far.
You should try this point, it's great for entry into a RNC if you have someone's back

Ever see someone get dropped from a Muay Thai kick to the sciatic nerve?
I don't blame you, don't believe all the mysticism. Run from touch of death bullshit.
But please tell me about a Dim Mak spot I may not have heard of before and its effect. Like, where you can strike me on my arm to make me unable to use it. Is it a strike that is feasible in combat? Have you ever used it on someone else and had it work while they were resisting?
if you cant hit the basic ones, fancy ones wont do you any good...i notice you are aware that strikes to the back of the head are disallowed in most all sports, its too dangerous. No one said "its unrealistic", and no one said "you cant do that because i can defend it", they said "you cant do that, its too dangerous"...think about it before you go well yeah but thats against the rules...i aint a ring fighter, and i dont teach ring fighters...
and yes i have used gb-20 and gv-26 attacks to great effect on several occasions on resisting opponents...several of them were in my gaurd at the time also realize that Fa jin is a way of striking, its basically charley horsing a nerve. The strikes are extremely fast (think the inch punch) you will get hit 3-4 times a second at minimum all to points like the neck, throat and face. Strikes to the arm MAY make a weapon go flying or activate the nerve, either way they bumped your attack out of the way on the way to your vitals.
come to think of it boarspear i use that setup alot for a rnc only i use my wrist bone to push upward on the bottom of the nose...bc im pretty big myself (205lbs) i usually get a tap 95% of the time but if not it leaves u open to lay in the rnc.good observation my brother from another chinese mother

dude the position was to demonstrate the effect of the point, not to imply usage, its useful for dragging people out from behind the wheel of a car though
It can also be used at close quarters to expose the neck or throat. Think about its uses from missed headlocks and guillotines, or for turning the head for a RNC. Also if it didnt work, they didnt hit this point...your eyes will water, it will hurt like hell and your face turn red just from the exercise i gave you.
Thanks for the info. Dude,I am thinking about
its uses from missed headlocks and guillotines or for turning the head for a RNC
.I'm not sure I understand the implication of that. Not mine.
I guess me and the other kids on the middle school playground were all Dim Mak masters and we never even knew it. Pinching the back of the neck, pinching the trapezius, popping someone under the nose...
****, we just called that being assholes to each other. I didn't know we needed code names for it.
Oh damn son, you just got GB-20'ed!!!!!! oooooo g bust!
1 inch punches and 3-4 surgical precision strikes per second. Now I remember what forum I'm in!

yeah, you're real funny, its strikes jr, it aint pinches. and if youre pinching your friends and popping under thier noses i dont wanna know about it, but it might explain why you like the missionary position, eerrr i mean the guard so much. i really dont care if you believe it or not.
you dont have to believe a slap to gb-20 or st-9 will k.o you for it to work, it aint voodoo. as for the precision can you hit the back of the neck of a man in your guard? then you can hit those points
