It's good to see you silly fucks can take some time off from debating "if you do this than I'll do that" and the effectiveness of urban combat tactics in a sport setting and vice versa. I want to commend you on attempting to have an intelligent conversation about something else, like music, even though this is a forum for martial artists. Congrads.

Last we heard from you, you were debating whether or not to stay with this chick with big hoots whose dad begrudgingly accepted your reasons for studying grappling over stand-up.

        Welcome back young brother!

Wow TV... is this you? Troll Virus at Work

Hendrix was okay, live he was usually to shitfaced of various substances to be any good at all. Still nobody, NOBODY else could come up with stuff like Voodoo Chile and Purple haze. I'm more a Satch man myself.

Yeah, I've heard he was pretty horrible live just because he was so shitfaced .

Oh, something I forgot to say before, your comment about Gilmour's guitar work, yes he uses technical bends, his signiture technique of bending up a tone, pulling it down then bending it up two tones and pulling it down just as the note dies out is what gives his guitar work that very airy smooth feel. But, from a technical aspect, it's not difficult. I play alot of Floyd's stuff, and it's not hugely difficult, but it's very inventive and polished. Well we can agree to disagree on Hendrix, but I genuinely do want to know what you do in the music industry?

I would probably sound awesome to me whilst the rest of my street wonders what the hell that racket is. Then after wailing on my guitar I would totally flip out and start laying down some serious ninja beatdowns on those pink elephants. Fact.

PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT::: For any young kids, teenagers or young adults reading this thread, let me be clear--I am not advocating the use of LSD or any mood or mind altering chemical. This thread is about the life of two icons who died at a young age. Drugs happened to be part of their story. Please, please please stay away from drugs. They will not make you a better fighter or guitar player. They will not get you high but they {drugs} will take you so low. Just say no. Stay away from street drugs. The end is always the same, Jails, institutions or death.
