When and where did I write off wingchun? You're putting words in my mouth (c'mon I can only keep so much water in there )

I'm pretty open minded about styles, because I know its the fighter and not the style per se that counts.

As I am colorblind, and perception is subjective... the sky is grey.
        Consequently...I am depressed.

Can I just point out that I never disputed that Inosanto was well known. Within JKD I am sure he was one of the most well known

If you posted a 'who here has heard of Ip Chun' on the Chinese Arts forum, I doubt you would even get one person saying they hadn't heard of him!

Secondly not many people are going to admit they have never heard of someone - it makes them look stupid!!

Thirdly the debate was about influences, which I have since conceded

Fourthly I could easily log on under various email accounts and vote against the poll 100 times. And get my friends etc to do the same

I just think that people on here have to be a bit careful to support their instructor yes, but at the same time not dismiss all the other amazing contributions that many martial artists out there have made

Hey, it's an international poll as legit as anything found in Martial Arts Illustrated.

Nobody has ever dissed the contribution of any other martial artist by giving Dan Inosanto his due. Sorry if you feel that way
