Can I just point out that I never disputed that Inosanto was well known. Within JKD I am sure he was one of the most well known
If you posted a 'who here has heard of Ip Chun' on the Chinese Arts forum, I doubt you would even get one person saying they hadn't heard of him!
Secondly not many people are going to admit they have never heard of someone - it makes them look stupid!!
Thirdly the debate was about influences, which I have since conceded
Fourthly I could easily log on under various email accounts and vote against the poll 100 times. And get my friends etc to do the same
I just think that people on here have to be a bit careful to support their instructor yes, but at the same time not dismiss all the other amazing contributions that many martial artists out there have made
