Consider every religion on earth. Consider science and philosophy. No one can agree on anything in any of those subjects. Why?
Because no one has enough evidence. Human perception is not based on evidence. It is experiential. That is why everyone has thier own points of view.
Callling the world insane only illustrates your own unwillingness to see the individual.
It would be fair to say that the world is chaotic. But without chaos there would be no evolution. I for one am trying to evolve beyond "moron" .
I am also trying to evolve beyond the need to play social games on message boards. Mr. Bri seems to be afflicted by the social game " I've got you now you son of a b1tch". This game can be seen in classic forms in poker games. for example , Mr. Bri gets an unbeatable hand, such as four aces. At this point he is more interested in the fact that the other players are completely at his mercy than he is in good poker or making money.
Congratulations Mr. Bri on that evolved perspective !! And I hope you have a wonderful, sunny-filled , evolved day.

I have noticed that if you look far back enough that all religions have something in common or are connected or branched off of eachother in some way. Judaism, Christianity, Catholism and Islam all share the same core but are just a little bit different on the outside. GOD, Jehovah, Allah...same god just different ideals. You may even be able to stick Buddism into the pot. Well thats my two pesos.

thats a very jungian analogy Adacas. You're totally right. all the religions have the same archetypes. For example , greek mythology had gods and goddesses who expressed individual roles. Like the father, the son, the hero, the shadow and so on and so fourth. Christianity is exactly the same, only it cramms all those roles and ideas into one being : jesus. Unless. of course we are talking about the trinity. Here the father and son are clealry expressed. But christians will never allow a female to retain a higher power. So they use the holy ghost to represent the woman within man. Or in jungian terminolgy the "anima" .
then there's hades and Satan. Same thing
funny how they each claim to be the right religion when they are all saying the same basic things.

Funnily enough some people try to confirm the existence of God by comparing the similarities between different religeons. "There must be a real God" they say "as how could we explain the fact that the Gos from different religeons are so similar?"

Great circular argument. If men write the religeous books in the same way, ( as an aside, excluding women in the same way) doesn't that merely tell us more about the human race?

they also keep the holidays that go along with christian religion (even though they have become something totally commercial) that even drunks enjoy because it's time off from everything else to have more drinks and show off.

Nothing presented in the bible is wrong. The interpretations are where people got off track. The bible was not meant to be taken word for word, just like any book or poem for that matter. Even the Lord of The rings books were obviously not to be taken at face value. The archetypes presented in them are apparent to any astute readers.
Actually I found a great jungian interperetation of the Lord of The rings books if any fellow martial artist / nerds care to view.
