      Monday's age

My information on Monday's age is somewhat speculative. Monday graduated from Oklahoma State, I believe, in 1983. That would put him at about 40 now. He was probably 38 when he fought Lewis. Monday last competed in the Olympics in 96, he did not metal. Monday won gold in the 88 Olympics and silver in 92.

Monday was and still is a bad dude. I've heard from someone that has trained with Monday on many occaisions as well as other elite wrestlers that have competed in NHB(Olympic training Center), and you'd be very surprised to hear who he intimidates. There's one highly successful HW NHBer/wrestler in particular you'd be shocked to hear is intimidated by him.

Frank Trigg is very intimidated by him. I'm sure there are others as well. Honestly, most of these NHB wrestlers don't even make it past the olympic trial, Monday is a 3 time Olympian and 2 time medalist.

I can't and don't want to declare it for several reasons; but I'll leave it at this: It isn't Coleman.

I agree with Americana about John Lewis.

Martial Artist, the fight with Carlson "George Costanza" Gracie jr is on Extreme Fighting #1
Its for sale on the web quite cheap, its about as exciting as watching paint dry.

I've rolled with Kenny Monday. He came to my high school for a seminar and sparred with all of us. The most remarkable thing I noticed about him was his unreal speed, boom he takes you down, boom he trips you, boom boom boom, he's all over you, also his upbeat personality to train, you could just tell it was in his blood to have a hard workout and sweat and kick ass. I was most glad to have him kick one of my coaches rear, whenever he was a jerk the rest of the year I'd picture Kenny throwing him like a rag doll. It was amazing because that coach was an all american who could probably lift as much as Kenny in the weight room. Anyways, he came for a weekend and our team of about 60 guys paid the well worth it 40 dollars a piece from our fundraisers/pocket. It was cool.

I agree. John Lewis has no talent. Wonder how much he paid for the black belt. I here it averages out to 56 jiu-jitsu classes at $10/class hmmm $1560.00... I'm saving up for mine. How about you?
