Sounds like it was a great show. Well done to Roni Da Silva and the crew for running such a good event. I didn't get there but my 2 boys did ok.

The first (Phil) won by judges decision after 3 rounds and the other (Alex) finished his fight in the first round with an armbar.

The last tournament, I lost against a much better fighter from Sydney Gracie Barra.
If you took part in the tournament, we would have known!
But since you do not take part in it!

Unlike you, I do not like VANILLA ICE in my BJJ.
Oh yes, I am used to your predictable statements:
my master is the best and I rolled with him once in my life.
We do not take part in national competition because we are not invited.
We have a national event but they are not open to others.
Just to show our participation in the New Zealand development of BJJ in my country, we only participate in the Australian competition.
Do I need to say more?

The guys are from Hasting/Napier not Wellington?
I could be wrong? there were no programs available.

One Hasting guy won his submission fight versus a brazilian fighter:
Blue Belt versus Blue Belt.
It was a good fight but the problem was the brazilian is much better at scoring point in competition BJJ. He has a slick gi game (bottom game) but it contributes to a poor game in submision fight.
The second guy from Hasting: sorry but I can't remenber. I better watch the DVD.
As I only paid attention to certain fights, there were a lots VT fight actually to my surprise.

I hope Tauranga Gracia Barra can continue on such succesfull format:
I think Gustavio was the mastermind and the future event will miss his input in the future.

Not sure what "pitboys" are but the implication seems to be they're backing me up because I asked them. Well I certainly asked them to take a look at this thread, not to back me up (I don’t need any, you’re stupid) but because I thought I was not explaining myself well enough and couldn’t get ANY information through to you.

BUT: I have never met Aristeia EVER!!!
And queijao is from your city and has trained BJJ much, much longer than you. With a lot of BJJ Black Belt’s so I value his opinion highly. Also queijao doesn’t like John Will so he’s not backing me up, he’s just adding his (drunken) thoughts.

YES there was two OTHER competitors from Napier. But no they were actually both two of our white belts.
