    pretty good.
my teammate Gustavio won in the 'spartan' NHB/vale tudo in Brisbane last week: not too sure of the details.
Australia is the place of MMA event really1
In NZ, MMA fights are usually part of kickboxing event.
Have you heard about any 'spartan' stuff from Brisbane last week?

Awesome news.My congrats to your friend.
My coach was offered a fight on the gold coast. His name is Wil Cunningham. Were from the Paulo Guimaraes ROOTS Bjj clan.
The fighters in Perth dont even get paid and the organisers are making a killing.
My coach and i are organising a MMA event. But we are trying to do it the right way,So at least the fighters get paid for getting onto the ring.

                    They are Purple Belts.
We were going to put on one last year.
We wanted to do just a MMA event & we were going to pay the fighters. There was some interest from the eastern states and New Zealand i think it was.
But there was not enough people prepared to step up for the event.
The thing about Perth is,Everyone puts up their hand,But pulls out at the last moment.
I'm not joking. We have had quite a few people drop out on our fighters at the last moment.
Or they organise an event and they use MMA fights to draw in the crowds. Then they cancel the fights at the last moment(on the night) so you dont know until you get their.
But i'm hoping that things will change soon.

Quite honestly, I wouldn't worry myself about that.
