Well my school has a open wrestling class, and im gonna go to it regardless probably because i know alot of the people in it and they wanted me to try it out. I also thought it would enhance my ground skills.
I also heard though that in wrestling u are on your stomach alot and i know in Shootfighting you dont want that to happen so i was jsut wondering if anyone couls shed some light on the situation, cause i dont wanna learn nasty habits from wrestling if there is any that will screw me over for bjj cause im reletively new at bjj also.

. About a month ago 3 new people signed up, and i was verry happy and anticipated some ez tappins when I got to roll with these guys. unfortunately I soon found out that all of these guys are college wrestlers. These guys all are very quick and explosive. If we start in stand-up I have no chance against them. The only good thing is that they do not know anything about submissions, but they are able to get me in dominating positions. I have been able to catch them a few times in triangle chokes that I dont think they ever saw before. I am afraid that after a few months of training these guys will start learning some submissions and some defenses for submissions, and with their excellent takedown skills and riding ability I think I will be in trouble again.
