This is a hypothetical situation. Let's say a judoka who only knows judo and does not crosstrain comes across a striker martial artist of equal experience.
Judokas would need to get in close to execute their throws and such. However, the striker is not going to just let him. He will kick and punch. If that's the case, how can a judoka, using only judo, effectively close the distance and take out a striker?
This scenario has stumped me for sometime. Everyone here says Judo is effective and I believe so too. But how can you grab someone who won't let you grab him? He will kick and punch and then kick and punch some more.
