Im not sure i follow the question, we dont do certain arts certain days its whatever the mood strikes that day....classes are open 10 to 12 hours a day..people show up...we work on whatever skills the people there feel like need work that day...its a mixed bag...everyone starts with wrestling...then moves into combat judo all the other stuff is added when you need to address a problem area...its not uncommon for people to sleep on the floor from exhaustion and start back up when they wake up around here so a curriculum isnt set in stone... you might start the morning doing taiji and end the evening working silat or kendo....it depends on who drops in to play on any given day.

Damn I screwed up when I was writing that.. I must be even more tired than I thought.
What I meant to ask is: What was you son training at the time that vid was filmed? Because you said he trains boxing and wrestling and so on right now, but what did he train back then?

The kid in diapers working the wooden dummy is mine...the two guys doing all the other stuff are just two kids i taught ...they practiced the arts i listed at the time that was filmed they had been with me 3 years...in that time they studied the stuff i listed and the frolicking exercises you saw the vids of...like i said we arent a "normal school"

                    Boar,

Any chance you could post them somewhere else or attach them as I can view them there. My work has a list of sites I cannot view (a damn big list)

I dunno I found the guy in the black gi to have a few good moves, not exactly the best sparring.

I think they knew each other and had mutual respect for each others skills thus the reluctance to over commit to an attack. My .02

How can they fight almost turning their backs on eachother?
And the text says it's self defense related... umm... they could only punch with one arm at the time, and it seems to me they would give their backs pretty easily with those spinning backfists and the stance in general.

And yeah looked like they are friends, so they didn't go too hard. I don't mind that. But the stance...

They also looked like the over 40 senior division.

I only liked one move in the video where the guy in the black gi gives him a side kick taking away his balance ;P
