Make an appointment to see your doctor.

Yup, he'll drain it. You should be happy, its a badge of honor in the bjj world. Sadly, it doesent do much to pick up girls.

After you get it drained, get some headgear to prevent it in the future, unless of course you don't mind it. I wear hg because I am ugly enough as it is without cauliflour ears, and I like to get laid so I cannot afford to get any uglier

I read an article not too long ago about a doctor in Germany who uses leaches to drain cauliflower ears.

Thanks, its not a huge bubble and I am goign to the walk-in clinic tomoro, I doubt this will have a huge effect on my appearence. I do have headgear, but I never wear it and have never previously gotten ringworm or cauliflower ear, but nowadays I've been grappling with these two guys in college who are weight lifters, one is 200+ the other is over 270 I believe, both are all muscle, and I'm a solid 120, ouch. I guess the intensified "meaty" techniques of these brutes has made me pay a price, but it alright, they are learning pretty quickly and developing relative grace.

I hope the doc can help me tomoro.

ahahahah man that sucks. i should of had mine drained. yeah definetly see a doctor, im sure you already have. lets just say on a cold day make sure no one slaps you on the ear. i cant even bend mine anymore. even with head gear your ear will still be irratated, i suggest you get new head gear, i used the brute mm2, because your ear isnt touched on the inside. and you may be lucky and tell a girl it was from bar fights and underground martial arts tournaments, maybe she will believe it, because women dont know anything about this sort of thing.

it wont be that bad, surely not so bad that I wont be able to touch my ear anymore, I think i just need to get the fluid out and then make sure that I notice next time my ear is irritated so i never have serious cauliflower.

is it possible to pierce it yourself with a safetypin or needle then drain it? or is that a bad idea? i know for a fact that some jiu jitsu guys get em so frequently that they drain it themselves.

im starting to get one in my ear too
this is what happens when u dont use proper hand position when someone has you in sidecontrol.

I have some very helpful advice for you on this subject. This happened to my friend a while back aswell and he too was in pain. He went to see the doctor who said that the injury was too small to be treated and to just leave it. My friend wasnt happy though and came to me for advice. I advised him that the injury could probably become severe and the only way of treating it is to basically chop it off. He seemed a little upset at first as he imagined himself walking around with one ear and then realised that i was right and chopped the beast off.

He doesnt have any pain in that ear anymore though and it is all because of me!!!!

Is there a time period before you have had it for to long and you can't get it drained? Usually when my ears start to hurt I take it easy for a few days and it goes away.
