I'm a fan of anklepicks so I'd have to say Cael Sanderson is one of my favorites. Genki Sudo is also one of my favorites, I like his unorthodox style and he has good striking and grappling abilities.
Ali pfft.... Frasier was a better fighter.... lol...
In all seriousness though, I think its safe to say that Pretty Boy Floyd is as good as, if not better than Ali in his pure boxing skills, obviously with the size advantage Ali > Floyd... but skill wise?
Clearly Royce isnt the best grappler in the world, or the best grappler ever, Rickson spanks Royce, and Royler is a far more technical and skilled grappler.
I'm not taking anything away from Royce, and I'm a fan of his "my jiu jitsu works while getting punched in the face" style, but hes not the best grappler. His immediate family is better than him, as well as many of the up and comers, Marcelo Garcia, Ronaldo Jacare Souza, SamuraiGuy, etc....
And if you want to go back in the day, Rolls woulda smacked Royce around.
I'm not disrespecting Royce, but hes not the best.
Oh and If im not mistaken I dont think Eddie Bravo ever won an Abu Dhabi, he beat Royler, but I dont think he won.
As for my favorite grapplers, well I have a bunch but alot of people wouldnt know them, its people I train with, my favorite world class grapplers would have to be, probably Royler, and the young Jacare, I love his alligator victory dance....
