Boarspear sent me a private messege saying that he felt Royce would win this fight but that the guys on the board wouldnt understand his change of heart., he said he took his first BJJ lesson today at a Gracie school and realized that its the best martial art ever and he is now a white belt !

I believe Matt has the most chance to win. He is really on top of his game right now. I want Royce to win though. He is one of my favorite fighters to watch. I heard he has been working on his wrestling as well as striking. I believe his wrestling won't help him much but maybe his striking will. Matt is not that good of a striker but I think he is still a little better than Royce.

If it goes to the ground and it is not a slam KO or ground and pound situation then Royce will win.

The standing game is in favor of Matt but don't count Royce out. This can also come to a decision which will suck.

            Royce Gracie will win

I think Royce will win this one for sure...He's not just working on his Jiu Jitsu...the Gracie's are rich enough to hire olympic wrestlers and judoka to help Royce better his takedown game. The Gracies are putting down so much money on this fight and Royce has been training(wrestling, striking, mma) for some time now. The fight will go to the ground, and on the ground Royce will trick Matt into to thinking he's setting up for one thing and then he'll switch to something else. Even if Matt evoids getting taken down, Royce will defend Matt's shots(punches) and Matt will get so frustrated and revert back to what he does best, wrestling. If Matt cant land good shots on Royce, matt will put Royce up to the fence and try to bang on him. Matt might even get so frustrated that he'll try to slam Royce. Just order the PPV next week and I bet that Royce WILL catch Matt Hughes in a submssion because the fight will go to the ground, its mma.

And people think the Gracies are arrogant when it comes to mma, but in reality, they want people to think that.......The Gracies just prefer the best, most technical training(striking, other things) in the world......

If Matt reverts back to wrestling, Royce will submit him. Royce is better on the GROUND(mat) in guard, period. It doesnt matter if Matt has greater wrestling and GnP skillz, because Royce IS better than Hughes on the ground. I hope Matt tries to takedown(or slam) Royce and then GnP him, because thats exactly what Royce wants. Matt Hughes has sprawl and brawl...and he has to be extremely weary of Royce jumping guard.

Weary characterized by or causing impatience or dissatisfaction; tedious; irksome: a weary wait.

If Royce jumps guard that would be awesome. He's not gonna but scoot around the mat like Royler. But if he is knocked to the ground(hypethetically speaking) he's gonna do the Gracie patented technical stand up technique(the best way to stand up from the ground in a fight, you cannot argue with that.), or he'll wait(on his back or butt) for Matt to try to GnP, and he'll will wrap Matt up in his guard.

I really dont see why you hate the Gracies(OR Royce) so much. Yeah, theyve marketed their modified form of Newaza on a huge level and claimed it to be STREET effective but so what? And theyre not as arrogant as ppl make them out to be...thats a myth.

Some ass clown made it up and gave himself a 10th degree blackbelt in it.

Rickson has over 400 grappling, wrestling, vale tudo, mma fights, and street fights combined. All those were matches, besides the few real street fights he's had.

I wanna see this D.C. show about MA's..........how were these MA being rated? Shaolin at numero uno? Come on...thats so wack...and GJJ being less then TKD, yeah right. No one can really rate MA's. When's this show on? What's it called?

I wonder what Boxing or Muay Thai was rated at? Or Wrestling? Judo? JKD? Silat/Kali/Escrima?
