So its racist to call someone who a "wigger" who is acting black? If you are Asian(Im black/latino btw), then you shouldnt be talking and acting like a black person.....even if youve grown up in the ghetto or around blacks your whole life. And i was never being racist, you took what i said out of context.

J-Luck, your snappy and insulting remarks(posts) are getting irritating.

Lol... sorry I just find that funny

Too bad it wasn't a good fight if that crap that happened got 24 pages so far god only knows how drawn out this would've got otherwise.

              • It was OK, Royce looked VERY, VERY overwhelmed... I think he got hit a few times pretty hard and panicked... I have seen very few fighters open their back on professional level that early in a match... He didn't show much heart really. Was a bit of a disapointing Pay per view all in all, but the next will be much, much better

                • HAHAHAHA

                  He didnt show much heart....

whats that quote ... "you show me a fighter who's 100% heart, and I'll show you the next fighter who's gonna lose".

Heart has no bearing when you have a guy dominating you throughout an entire fight, then he takes the most dominant position, which no matter what you do, do to skill, size, and strength levels, you cant escape. Then this man, known for mauling people when they are on the ground, continues to pound your face in.

Your right, Royce lacked heart, he should of let Hughes Punch him repeatedly at will for another 40 seconds.... oh wait, it was a ref stoppage, knob.

Besides, talking about heart, isnt his non giving up to that armbar, that 99% of people would have tapped to, heart?

                  • By heart I mean will to win, as soon as he stepped in there and got hit a few times he looked like he was shocked and not gonna try anything jujitzu like. Instead he was almost in my opinion 'scared' and backing off, if he fought with heart, he wouldn't have been scared, he would have launched himself at Matt Hughes and instead tryed to control and overwhelm him.

Basically, he knew he was beat after 10 seconds and let it stay like that. Less of calling me a knob as well :P opnions......

You get called a knob when you post moronic opinions.

Heart is getting up and perservering, continuing on when you really shouldn't have the strength too, or when most people wouldnt have the will too.

Hughes with the back mount, legs grape vined, hips into your back, mauling you, has nothing to do with heart. Royce LITERALLY could not get up.

Heart is when you are down and out and find the strength to get up when you virtually "can't get up". Do you see the difference..

If I get knocked down 8 times in a boxing match, and get up 8 times and keep fighting, even when I'm so tired, so beaten, I've shown heart.

If three weeks later, a Crane falls on me, and I can't get up, am I showing a lack of heart?

                      • I would define heart as: The desire to win... even if the odds are against you

And Gracie did not show that.

Yes and it shows that you are a weak person!

Desire to win, or the ability to always get up when you've been knocked down.

Either way, no matter how you define it, no amount of heart in the world could have saved Royce from the situations he was put in.

                            • It seems like you both are right. He did show lack of heart, and with more heart would have lasted longer.

But what Samurai is sayin is that no matter how much heart Royce had, he would have been outclassed. Heart would have done him some good, but he would inevitably lose.
