    My 2 cents:

Hughes will absolutely NOT win by KO...Penn will control the standup.
Hughes will dominant the takedowns. Possible Hughes TKO if he can
    open up a cut.

Its not hard to train to defend the RNC...Hughes will not get tapped
to it again...Penn will not dominate the ground...Hughes is blackbelt
material, and we've all seen how boring the ground is when 2 blackbelts
    faceoff.

Split Decision......Judges will give it to Dana's Golden Child.

(I hope Im wrong and Penn gets his belt back)

Jkd187 you got a link to any info on GSP's injury? Was trying to find something but couldn't, really want to see that fight too, I am pretty dissappointed.

if aynone did not see the second fight with Matt Hughes and Frank Trigg. you need to watch it. Hughes is the real deal. he is going to destroy Penn. and yeah i know Frank Trigg is not bj Penn but he did catch Hughes with a good punch that hurt him but he came back and won RNC.

          Beetle Bailey ....

... that's what BJ will resemble when Matt's done with him this time. No disrepect but I don't think he'll pull it off this time.

He KISSED Matt on the lips!! I'd say, he's on a friggin crusade to kick his butt this time!

Uh, not his belt. He couldn't even beat the number 1 or 2 contender, whichever you choose to consider GSP.

wrong, he beat matt hughes soundly to win the belt, then had a dispute with UFC and went off the fight elsewhere, relinquishing his belts back to Hughes, the true champ is Penn, and the world will see once again

if u look at the bj penn vs matt hughes fight closely when hughes gets taken down it kinda looks like bj got lucky and hughes fell, anyways i dont think bj can get on top of hughes this time. If hughes gets on top as he usually does i dont think bj can beat him. Bj has good passes and sweeps but its really hard to sweep a guy like hughes when he is throwing punches left and right. So i say hughes will win by tko, either by mount or back mount

both guys can stand and both has ground skills(although BJ is more dominant in this position)... But never take out the chance that there is a 50% chance of both guys winnong and lossing.. I wish both guys the best but my heart goes with BJ...

anyone know if hughes is a black belt in bjj yet since he has great mounting ability, and the kimura he pulled off recently was amazing, and he even did it in someones half guard, not many people can do that

Who would give it to him? Does he train with any BJJ Black belts? Of course he's good enough to be a black belt, but not officially that i know of

Technically Jeremy Horn isnt a BJJ blackbelt, just as good or much better than one though. I dont think he considers himself as a BJJ guy.

But ya miletich is a blackbelt.

Matt Hughes doesnt need a blackbelt, he's got the WW champ belt. He beat GSP, who beat "the champ" therefore from moronic logic, the same of which "Penn is still the champ" comes from, Hughes is actually the champ.

Yup Miletich is a blackbelt and Matt hughes also said that if there was a belt system in their group he'll definitely be a black belt... Jeremy Horn is also a jiu-jitsu practitioner but not sure if he has a belt status there... Before his fight with lidell he said that his jiu-jitsu skills are much improved compared to the first time he fought chuck.....

Yes I know Pat is a black belt, but Horn IS NOT, though he deserves one, although Ive seen him make some techinacle errors on the ground. Hughes would be one also if he trained in it, I would assume, though there are countless sweeps,. GI chokes, leg locks, etc, that he might not know anything about and therefore just be a good grappler
