Hehehehe ... The Krav Maga episode was great. It not only expounded on many of the truths of RBSD already written here by a few of us, but actual instructors from the Mossad talked about trained reaction vs thinking based methods in combat, sport fighting vs RBSD/combatives for real world aggression, and the combat mindset which some here feel is too extreme or unnecessary.

What a resounding echo of what I've been accused of saying too much on this site. What was shown and said in the Krav Maga episode was all very basic. Nothing fancy. Yet that information is woefully absent here on a day to day basis.

That's par for the course at Depends.

      hello,

contract to say "i'm big" and get paid for it? interesting. not terribly martial, but interesting.

hair gel subsidies? well, any of us who lived in the eighties have all been THERE!!!

hahahahahahahahahaha!!! again, not terribly martial, but interesting. sort of. ok, not really, but even hairgel could come in handy in a fight. it would make your head so slick it would pop right out of headlocks, chokes and neck cranks!!!

      fear the soul-glo, people!!

      thanks

Hahahahaha .... how did I know that ole "mongrel on his mama's side" would show up to bless us with his melon headed wisdom? Great post by the way. I love how you have expounded on tactics and technique.

Strangely I didn't see the Israeli Special Forces cover the "getting smacked in your mouth" defense. Also their knife defense looked very different from your atomic suplex method. I guess those fellas at the Mossad could learn a thing or two from our unfriendly neighborhood troll.

Is the oddly inappropriate attempt at racism part of the COMBATIVES! curriculum, or just something you decided to add on your own?

            Oh btw, COMBATIVES!

I'd like to point out here that I study combatives and have never made a racist remark on this or any other forum so please don't generalize something like that just because the only tie you have to Uke is combatives.

The fact that you would show a generalization like that also shows that your thinking is on the same plane as any racists' here or otherwise and I'd appreciate you not to belittle and art like that just because you don't agree with it's teachings or principles.

You want to have your pissing contest fine but I don't say "all wrestlers are homos" so don't say all people who practice combatives are racist.

              Thank you.

Now there is a big fire in California why don't you guys go piss on it there is enough here to put it out from what I see.

Can you expand on the Krav knowledge, seeing as there aren't too many Krav instructors here?

I made a call for TCMA stylists as well and there still hasn't been much of a response.

On this forum it seems to be MMA or go away.

Go back and read some of the old threads in the CMA forums and the crap that people who talked about them had to put up with and your question will be answered as to why nobody wants to TRY and have SERIOUS discussions about TCMA's.

Nobody is going to put up with trying to talk when the special ED children keep disrupting the conversation.

I learned Kyokushin first and Muay Thia later. The main thing was conditioning my shins being able to take punches to the face. I could take hella hits though. The reason is in Kyokoshin we have no gloves. We hit with our bare hands and it is twice as bad. We get kicked in the head. Sure we don't get punched in the face but a nice kick in the face once in a while will teach one how to take hits in the face.

There is no way that MMA guy would have beat a FMA guy in a real fight unless he new how to use the stick just as well or knife. That is what FMA is all about. These guys are the best at weapons and the main style of Dog Brothers is FMA. I also do FMA and got to watch them in action in the Bay Area and it was fun as hell. I don't think I am good enough to take a beating from them though.
                      Didn't you start kenpo recently?

Ok, so you are clearly stating that racism isn't part of the COMBATIVES! curriculum, but just something that pUke decided to add on his own?

Just want to be clear about that.

And you, as a COMBATIVES! person, would then reject and denounce his strange attempts at racism?

Hey, I'm not belittling anything. When the biggest COMBATIVES! cheerleader also expresses views that suggest strongly that he is a racist I want to clarify whether those views are associated with the system he studies or are merely another of his personal failings. As a fellow COMBATIVES! practitioner I would think you might want to correct that behavior and/or distance yourself from him lest he besmirch your system with his racism.

It's none of my business. What is my business is that at one point in time recently I liked posting on this forum again but somebody can't just let shit die out so they have to keep it going cause it seems to be the only life they have anymore.

I done with this line of thought it is neither good for the forums or for any other type of discussion. I just wanted to make sure that we were clear that someone was mixing his own prejudiced against something I hold dear to myself along with some stupid bullshit.

Thank you and good day as far as this topic is concered I won't be further dragged down into this muddy swamp of crap.

I apologize to this forum for even slipping in the muck slightlyt with my post that this all refers to.

Forum I am truly sorry for that. Please accept my humble apology.

You make a poor comparison. If I had repeatedly made comments that suggested I was a 'homosexual' you might want to clarify that suspicion and if born out, then make inquiries as to associations based on that finding. pUke has several times made statements that cannot be intrepreted other than as racist in nature, therefore I sought to clarify. If you don't want to be associated with a racist, I applaud you for that, but you ought to take the issue up with him, not me.

Some of those old threads involved a lot of posturing and outrage by folks who did not want 'discussion,' but merely demanded that everything they said be accepted without question no matter how 'questionable.'
