If killing my attacker is what it takes to survive, then I will do so with utmost efficiency. Do not purposefully inflict the wrath of the righteous. When you become an enemy of good, it makes you evil. Have mercy upon those you could destroy, unless mercy is denied from those who are too wicked....
...and you will know my name is THE LORD, when I lay my vengance upon you!!!
So, here's a question that may have already been discussed:
Is MMA actually "Mixed Martial Arts" or has the term come to mean a particular sport specific style? Is MMA a style or simply a mix of various combat system?
Do what it takes to get what you want. Make sure what you want is what you want. Do not purposefully inflict the wrath of the righteous. When you become an enemy of good, it makes you evil. Have mercy upon those you could destroy, unless mercy is denied from those who are too wicked.
I. AM. BEOWULF!!!!!
lol honestly though, this is ridiculous.
I disagree. I have never seen Beowulf. I do not claim to be able to do anything other then what I know I can do. I am simply stating thain my OPINION (my opinion is always right because it is mine and subject to change at an time) one style over another is rediculous. The right choice at the right time is all that matters.
That being said, you are entitled to your opinion which I will not try to change.
In an attempt to not start an on going arguement I will restate my point in a different manner that perhaps makes more sense. When someone much larger, stronger, faster, ect ect ect....more capable of harming you then you are of harming them, has you on their shit lis, what are you going to do. Depending on the severity of the situation, desperate measures must be taken. This is why we are taught deadly techniques.
Killing a human with your own body is incredibly simple.
You all make good points outside of my interjections in this thread. Within my interjections you also make good points (Samuel L Jackson) but there is more to be iscussed on this topic then what I have to say about it. My generalization is simply: if someone wants to hurt me I will defend myself if I feel that I deserve to be defended.
Nobody here is arguing with your opinion of defeating an opponent. It is more, shal we say, your choice of words rather. "Purposefully inflict the wrath of the righteous?" Come on now, honestly.
I was making the statement that you should chose your battles wisely.
Why fight for something that is not worth fighting for?
There are good people out there that start fights (and win them) when they don't deserve to fight or win.
An example: Girl leaves guy #1 for guy #2 becuse guy# 1 cheated on her. Guy #1 gets pissed off and kicks guy #2's ass. Guy# 2 gets hospitalized and it is later discovered that he is in a vegitative coma. Girl goes crazy shoots guy#1 in the face and goes to jail.
Forgive me for my style of articulating sentances, I am an artist and an author, it comes with the territory. I do have a tendancy to over emphasize and create grandoise explanations of somethings that could be simplified. It's habit.

Pound, Hemingway, Twain, Bukowski, Dillard, Snyder, Ferlinghetti, Faulkner, Burroughs and Vonnegut were all writers and by extension, "artistes", though they never found it habit to flaunt pseudo-intellectualism about.
There is nothing about a real writer that is or should be pretentious. We're a subtle kind, an austere kind. You seem to know what you're talking about when it comes to writing and authorship as much as you know about real world application of martial arts. Please just stop refering to whatever skills or trades you have.
