Have u taken GJJ? Have you faught against someone that trained GJJ from the gracies not the watered down sport version BJJ? Ill answer that for you NO, cause i know if you have faught somebody who is trained in GJJ you would not be on this computer making this claim... It is a fact they dont train sport and yes man lol go take gracie combatatives and after you get done you can find out for yourself it is punch proof IF you do all the techniques right. its simple

and if you want search on youtube you can see the gracies training the us army in combatatives if you dont believe me, but i forgot in war hand to hand combat there is no knives allowed, no elbows allowed, no knees, no hitting, it is all sport grappling.... that is why the army, navy seals, and marines decided to take gracie jiu jitsu rather than any other martial art hahaha.

and im telling you man youre a walking encylopedia i bet you grew up in brazil with the gracies and watched every fight they were in so you know they lost, thats right you were there how could i be so stupid haha. you dont know if they r lieing or not what was royce gracies record in ufc until he got old past age 35-36... idk the exact record, but i do know his record stands right now 51-3 and thats after fighting sakuraba at age 39 and matt hughes at 40, so what he was about 48-0 thats pretty impressive i think... and go ahead and say somethin like no one knew what they were doing back then, casue thats all you got whats funny is he kept winning even up to 2007 even when he was an old man. lol

I have never seen any type of altercation (with my own eyes) that a sports martial art like wrestling, boxing, kick boxing, Judo or BJJ could not handle.

I think most altercations could be handled with the above, but scenarios where there are multiple attackers or those with weapons would make it nasty.

There are some good, traditional MA-ists who have come out of some pretty nasty altercations - but they were the one's who usually had some kind of security or force protection background.
