I do wear them, different colors: red, black, blue, pink (j/k).
I have hurt ankles in the past, been years now since torn ligaments. I know they don't really give that much actual support, but for some reason I feel much safer with them on and not so cautious with how I step or twist. It is probably all mental, but yea, I do wear them.

Lol
I could write a book on this topic but I'd just get pissed so yes always wear ankle braces when doing kicks, if you can wear them in the ring do so, if not maybe tape if it's allowed. I currently train in a $600 dollar ankle brace (and shoes) called a colorado brace that's state of the art and molded to my foot cause my ankle is totally fucked but since I don't give a shit I just keep on rolling LOLIf I don't get the surgies I need cause my doc is being a playa hater lately(him being an impediment to me fighting asap is like an m.a. c block of sorts, he's a young guy like 30 so he should know better than to delay da fun) I don't tell him not go out on the weekends and get the mega action he's probably getting being a young good looking doc(women go cha ching when they find out what he does for a living, I'll bet)so why's he trying to throw some salt up in my game by fucking draggin his feet on the surgery thang,I ought go and steal his next 5 girl friends just foe messing with my flow on the fighting thang, F*** it I'll just fight real injured, hey if you can stand and you're breathing you can fight

That's the distance you'd have to move your pinky in order to not sound like an idiot. I know the burden of pressing shift to capitalize is a great one, but c'mon, you can do better than that. I used to type emails in caps like yours, but then I decided that I didn't want a job mixing concrete.

Now back to the discussion of this post...............

To reply to your post in a constructive manner, if everyone here says the anklets are for mental assistance, I believe the answer is quite obvious to why they would only use one. I have never put one on myself, so I can not give my opinion.

"I have never put one on myself, so I can not give my opinion."
too bad you couldn't just limit your reply to this then we would not have to waste time with this useless crap.
p.s. find your own grammar forum since you seem to focus on it, anyways it would keep you out of this one, something I think that most here wouldn't mind.

im not wearing them. i hate even wearing gloves... used handwraps alone until it got to the point where i was punching hard enough to stand a pretty good chance of badly hurting my hands... even then it took several weeks. now using gloves and found out my punches work rather better than when i was worried about huring myself... anyone who knows how to condition hands to take the forces involved in punching hard please tell me....
anyway... my friend started wearing anklets... they annoyed him within a week... and now he's stopped. i might get a set one day... prob after hurting my ankle tho.
quite why the colour matters i dont know tho lol
