yeah, that should be fine. Some kind of liniment. Thai-Boxing liniment from Thailand is really good.

Toes up..... you can go straight from a shin block to a front kick or side kick if needed to.

I don't think that you can perform a good and effective front or side kick after you just blocked a powerful low kcick without putting your foot down.... However in the movies your technique would look spectacular!

Then again, if you raised the block for a kick which never came, you'd be in an excellent position for a half beat riposte.

yeah you may be right,I just use it for sparring my nieghbor,it works.....but I think in a Thai fight I might not be able to generate enough power to do damage, but I dont no,Iv never used it in a full contact fight,I picked it up of some thai website.I guess ill have to try it if I ever get into a fight.

Right, not all fancy techniques that normally work smooth at the gym would easily be effective on the ring or worse in a street fight. It all comes down to how long you have been practicing, where and fighting or sparring with who...

At the end, if you look at most fights, you win when you use simple and effective techniques, no room for spectacular but complicated techs, unless who you are fighting is a newbie, a useless fighter or someone half your weight!
