I'm going to post the first part of my blog below. I haven't finished writiing the rest of it yet, but this is what I got completed so far.
First I want to answer a couple of post questions from before. Master Toddy's hand stuff was really good. He showed us 11 different punch variations, not to mention his cobra punch. I definitely picked up some new effective techniques.
We weren't able to tape it, but they did tape some for us and they will be providing a DVD of it to us.
Ghost, I found out something that you may find interesting. In 2006, Master Toddy went to Tiger Muay Thai and trained all the trainers there. Master Toddy is actually pretty friendly with the owner of the gym, Wil. He pretty much restructured their entire program for them.
Here is what I have completed in my blog so far. The rest will be up by tomorrow at some point on my site if you want to read the whole thing. Enjoy.
I am sitting here at the dorms waiting for my cab to come take me to the airport, and two words can describe how I feel right now. The first word... Exhausted! The other word is Fulfilled! After a three day intensive semi private seminar with Master Toddy, I am drained both physically and mentally, and yet I feel filled up with a tremendous amount of Muay Thai knowledge and culture. I will briefly explain to you the format and overview of my experience the last three days to the best of my ability. Even with me being the wordsmith I am ;-) it still won't scratch the surface of such a wonderful opportunity and time that I have just had.
As I mentioned in a previous post, I am staying at the Fighter Dorms here at Master Toddy's house. So Monday morning started off with Master Toddy driving me into his school from his house. It was quite an experience to just sit in the presence of Master Toddy and listen to him speak his wisdom and knowledge. It was an excellent way to start my training.
When we arrived at the school, I go to meet the other students enrolled in the course, who were Ray from Hawaii, Paul from Texas, Jeff from Ohio, Alfred from Florida and Chea and Jeff from Master Toddy's academy. Actually, hanging out and sharing ideas and information was one of the most rewarding parts of the entire experience. It's weird, because in the area I am from, there are so much politics between the schools in the area and no one wants to share. However, there was such a sharing of knowlege, experiences and ideas between each other. It was cool to hear what things worked well for others in their school, what their plans were and the things that have been effective for them. All of these guys were great guys, and I can't wait to spend some time training at their schools.
Now on to the training. The three days were broken down into both a morning and afternoon session, each which was about 3 to 4 hours worth of time. All the lessons were conducted completely by Master Toddy, so basically over the last 3 days I have had over 20 hours of personal training with Master Toddy, which was great and well worth the investment.

where ya from brother? body english refers to a the body and b using what pool players call english, youhit a ball to spin it ever so slightly or very greatly to accomplish trick shots, or just plain control what balls ya hit. so in this case, you over exaggerate the moves for a cross and get kinda an over hand right without the real loop and the power of a cross but you toruge your body to avoid making targets. not a bad technique. this or last months black belt mag has the tech featured. and for the record having never met him, i can say no bad about Master Toddy.
