good point, tee sok. i would imagine the cleanliness in cambodia and how they do the tattoos would have to be checked as well i would be hesitant personaly. not that the people are not authentic or great but how the process is done.

Yes that s true, I read that there are different ways to clean the needles in Thailand, like
sterilizing them with alcohol or burning a cotton ball around the needle if I remember well.
These don t look dfficult so who knows maybe in Cambodia the use similar ways to do it.

I am sure they can help but I don t know to what degree. Better with than
without for sure.
Interestingly I read that some sak yant masters are able to tattoo
without blood being spilled as the needle goes right beyond the skin without
breaking blood vessels!

I am also Thai,,but I don't care of any Tattoo or Sak Yan. referring to Thai culture.maybe 25 - 50 years ago.The Tattoo was the symbol of prisoner. Many male prisoner like to do Tattoo on their skin.Although you were not prisoner.if you had tattoo on somewhere of your body.you don't look good.another reason, when you want to get tattoo on your skin you must get hurt.that was why tattoo was not popular among Thai people. there has been some funny song that was sung by Plearn Phromdan. The content of that song told some chinese boy went to meet some elder monk in order to get a 7 heads dragon and each mouth must carry a marble. The monk proceeded as his request.but he couldn't bear to get pain while the monk was proceeding 7 heads dragon.he gave up lol.yes Thailand culture changed.many people like making tattoo for the beauty and the method cause pain a little bit..but you must be careful of HIV or some disease infected also
