It was, but it's a little known fact that people called him Albert Einstein. It was nickname he got after he invented the telephone, flew a kite with a brass key on it in a lighting storm, and got hit on the head with an apple and came up with the law of gravity.

Brewer! Making fun of 13 year old little girls? tsk tsk...
and incase that made no sense to you, it means that if you critisize someone, all you are doing is giving them another reason to persevere, because it gives them another reason to prove themselves

I did a google search on the speed is fine quote, and it came up 50/50. So, I went back and removed the author of the quote.
Should have left it... I've heard him say that on his hunting show in refrence to the hype about bullet velocity? Speed is fine but shot placement is critical... When killing critters. Earp was talking about killing folks that were shooting at ya.
I thoroughly disapprove of duels. I consider them unwise and I know they are dangerous. Also, sinful. If a man should challenge me, I would take him kindly and forgivingly by the hand and lead him to a quiet place and kill him. -- Mark Twain
"To be prepared for war is one of the most effectual means of preserving peace." - General George Washington
Act like a man of thought - Think like a man of action - Thomas Mann
Civilize the mind but make savage the body - Chairman Mao

of our training *** Read this one and understand it
Some Warriors look fierce, but are mild. Some seem timid, but are vicious. Look beyond appearances; position yourself for the advantage. -- Deng Ming-Dao
The more you sweat in training, the less you will bleed in battle. - Motto of Navy Seals
Tomorrow's battle is won during today's practice.

The martial arts are like hot water. If you don't keep adding heat it will soon cool.
If you think your good enough, you've just started your decline.
Speed is fine but accuracy is final. Bill Jordan and Wyatt Earp

And last but not least, a quote dedicated to all of our military personel, and my brothers and sisters in law enforcement:
We sleep safe in our beds because rough men (and women) stand ready in the night to visit violence on those who would do us harm. -- George Orwell
