I carry a benchmade auto-presidio black blade half-serrated as a boot knife. I love it.

I spent around $200 for the knife. I like the auto function. The AXIS is really nice. Being particular to knives I am picky about actions. I really don't like button autos or the push switch kind (like the INfidel). The auto presidio is really quick. If I hold it with two fingers it can literally jump out of my hand. (as long as I keep it clean--lint jams it up making it open slower).

I like Cold Steel Voyagers too. Strong blades. I agree there are many assisted opening and actions that are real smooth and quick. I just like the way the auto presidio opens.

remember all fights start before the first strike, if i were to carry any weapon, it'd be persuasive speach, attempt to escape from a fight. my personal rule is: Ask them once to leave you alone. then make eye contact, and says, please i dont want to fight you. then make an excuse if they still persist. and the fourth time. destroy them without mercy. or. if your feeling rather combative like i always am lol, give them 1 warning. if they persist... give them the works...

and what if you are fully aware of this and arnt an all round hard bastard???

in a nice pub situation if someone where starting something as i where sat minding me own reading the paper i will make myself aware of whats at hand. bang* the paper is in their face and ive already picked up the ashtray and whacked ya rich across the side of the head. i continue this untill your on the deck and im stamping on your head untill your not moving! ive also moved towards the extinguisher i noticed when i first went in the room and if your a right hard **** you'll be getting that.

i never have carried a legal weapon for defence because there are weapons and aids everywhere. if i know im gonna need something i'm gonna carry the deadliest thing i can get regardless of sentence. its better to be alive in jail for five to life than dead isnt it?

anyway when its starting clock everything in the area. remembe he may go for one of these things so throwing something suddenly to distract will work a charm in ensuring you get there first. newspaper shopping bag tray of chips and gravy. anythig will do.


two week ago i had been helping me mate out djing in a club and where warned abpout four lads waiting outside. i did on this occasion arm myself with a can and told my mate (who hasnt ever had a fight in his life) to let me run in to em and stay near the door. find an extinguisher if i where losing where his orders lol. that whernt a nice situation at all but fortunately the lads had fucked off by the time we got out so i drank the can o red bull hehe.

hi 1st post in situations where a fight may insue you need to think that if your not willing to kill some one in that fight then a knife will not be of much use in instasnces were a person is unwilling to kill thel just slash at there attacker adrenalin can keep a person moving after a tremendous amount of pain has been inflicted

what you need to do is disable a person by either KOing or disabling movement in this regard then my weappon of choice is the aformentiond steel toe cap boot a swift kick at the side of some ones knee is usually enought to stop a person dead in there tracks pub fights usually result from stupidity of some sort and the need to end anothers life over stupidity is just moronic

I routinely take a walking stick when I take a stroll. Love it, and it's all nice and legal.

also a common thing with the chavs where im from they all have theses big styupid saddle rings not illegal as they tecnically jewerly but can cause a lot of damage

i suppose that this proves a saddle ring is a good weapon if you wanna make a mark but anthony didnt fall and infact hammered this little prat who eventually found his feet and ran away as fast as he could lol.

maybe it is a good weapon but it will attract trouble many folk see it as a symbol of a trouble maker. i once had a guy pop one on his finger but he where about 5'4" and i told him dnt even think your gonna get me with that ring and prepped to kick the little ****. he folded before striking and said he never put it on to hit me and i where paranoid haha. little scumbag.
