I would definately check Miyama Ryu jujutsu since you are in the Bronx.
Miyamaryu Ju Jutsu, Judo and Karate Hombu Dojo. Bronx New York and Worldwide.

Also, here is a link to other MAs in NYC

Oishi Sensei is a long trip for you unless you are in the city for work or school. but if you don't mind the distance iti's a great place to train

You don't need a grappling art. You need a weapon art.

NY (City) has some of the most F'd up knife laws in the country!

"Stick" fighting styles like Kali or Eskrima would be good, Something with Silat or modern Arnis also. Don't overlook decent RBSD or combatives...

Survival is not about what grappling style will work better in the streets. That will depend entirely on YOU. Stay safe, stay on your feet!
So you are suggesting that he breaks NYC's weapons carry laws right. Nice move Mr Clever.

I need help finding a good grappling art, but don't know what to chose from. So can I hear any opinion on any and can anyone tell me where i can find one in NYC.
