in gist, the decision says that it was "battered-wife syndrome" that drove her to (it think) stab her husband dead.

time to look for a shrink that will diagnose me a "battered boyfriend." then i set hand2hand's nefarious scheme into motion...

        • Men being violent. What a concept. It always gets shoved at the man.
Statistically, the ratio is always closing in. Maybe the statistics should be looking at who initiated the contact. Myself, I'm reactionary(also male).
I train fighters and also trained my ex-wife to be a fighter. As she got better she would start taking punches at me. Evidently she had a history of doing this to her mates, female and male.
One day she jumped on me scratched my face up, punched me, then kicked me in the balls. I shoved her off me and slapped the shit out of her and told her if she ever hit me again I would get rid of her. She calmed down, apologized for hitting me then 1 month later I came home and she was gone and I went to jail for domestic violence b/c she said the opposite.
Where is the justice in that?
$3k later, I still come to the same conclusion. Noone should be hit by their partner that they supposedly love.
I went through a domestic violence class and believe me there are definitely some guys who need to be there. The people there dont care about what the men say or do or did.
I have never been in trouble for anything in my life. I love my family, my girlfriend, my animals. I have issues, but not violent ones.
All of the men hating women who read this should stop and think about what they really hate. Stop the violence! You can do it just as easy by not instigating.

Sorry to hear about your crappy situation Kru D. Women are sometimes psychos. Not all of them, maybe half of them. A friend of mine from the Marines refers to these kinds of women as "psycho eye".

His experience comes from all the ports of the world, but the trend is all the same - psycho eye. Its more or less a trend of behaviors, rationalizations and looks that indicate pretty quickly if you're dealing with psycho eye.

I find this story very interesting on several different levels. My comments:

              1. If your girlfriend or wife ever decides that she'd like to see you locked up then she'll probably find a way to get it done. Therefore, it's best to just stay away from any women who likes to argue and live for trouble. If she also drinks too much, or gets high, then that's a sure sign of trouble!

              2. I have to think that men are the aggressors in most DV situations simply because men are more aggressive in every other situation. That's why anything you say will probably be ignored by law enforcement if you're ever arrested for DV. If that's not you, than you have my sympathies.

              3. She must be a real bitch if she actually attacked you seriously with a series of hits. I've seen women hit guys before and I've been hit by women myself, but I've never seen any women actually attack a guy and just keep on beating on him. Although there was that Chuck Finley and T. Kyten (sp?) fiasco. Although, violent women usuially look for an easier target than a trained martial artist.

              4. You made a big mistake by not going to the hospital and having your injuries treated. If you tell the nurses that you were still in pain from being kicked in the balls then they have to treat you. Had you done this you would have had evidence that she attacked you and you could have pressed counter-charges against her. Then maybe she wouldn't have been so quick to have you locked up for DV.

Anyway, sorry to hear that this happened to you.

              Take care,
              Mr. Niceguy

                You might also add:

If she came from a very abusive family.
                Lacks patience.
                Short-fused...
and any combination or permutation of the above.

other signs too, but you're description is right on.

It's so cute when guys say that! I actually rather like the kitchen. It's the first place I go if I hear weird noises in the house. Tiz where all the knives are...

hey tom... you remember this chauvinist thing about women working their way to men's hearts via the kitchen (cooking, that is)? well, guess what? the same route works the other way around -- when men want to work their way in between the you know whats...

I wasn't dogging on the cooking part. I was talking about you randomly and unexpectedly appearing in some chicks kitchen cooking fillipino stir-fry....she might be concerned who you are and what you are doing if she doesn't know you.

ah but no... mulan and i are so cosmically connected she will instantly know it is me. and one more thing... the fried rice and steamed egg that i cook is actually chinese not filipino. you see, i am an ethnic chinese and more well versed in chinese cooking though i can whip up a mean dish of beef steak and onions in soy sauce filipino style. then again, if you manage to screw up with a beef dish, you have no business in the kitchen. what a waste of good raw material!

How about shredded beef cooked in fried garlic, fish sauce, lime, lemon grass and black pepper topped with julianed carrots and quartered tomatoes?

But why hurry to the main course, when you can start off with coconut-yellow curry soup flavored with chicken stock, star aniside, white vinegar, brown sugar and dried crushed red pepper with steamed potato and trout colored by several sprigs of basil.

                              CONVINCED????????...lol

just a clarification, what do you call "shredded beef cooked in fried garlic, fish sauce, lime, lemon grass and black pepper topped with julianed carrots and quartered tomatoes?"
