      LOL
Don't listen to the "don't be a nice guy" bit.

Nice guys finish best. Women don't want to date or marry assholes. But many do want a man who is challenging, and gives them a sense of mystery.

All the "nice guys finish last" stuff is because people equate "nice guys" with "clingy guys."

Clingy guys finish last. Yes. Nice guys finish best.

Now enough of this Oprah show, return to your regularly scheduled MMA talk.

What I am about to say might make you pissed, but please don't just roll your eyes at me and move on. Hear me out...

What you are experiencing is actually a moment of brilliance and a defining point in your life. If you are seriously feeling as you are and this wasn't a post done in hasty emotion then you can really do something about this.

French philosopher Blaise Paschal wrote "Within each one of us there is a God-shaped vacuum that only God can fill." Your feelings of inadequacy on a number of levels reflect that you have found said vacuum. Many people will try to fill this vacuum with a number of different techniques. Some people bury themselves in careers or money, other devote themselves to family, more dedicate their lives to some form of hobby or activity (i.e. martial arts).

However, let it be known that this vacuum or hole in your heart/soul can only be filled by God. It sounds corny, yet it is true: God loves you and desires to have a relationship with you and to fill that hole, which he created by the way when he created you.

                    Matthew 11:28
"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest."

                    John 4:14
"but whoever drinks the water I give him will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life."

He speaks to us when we are weakest and it appears that he is calling to you know, hence the reason that I am writing. He desires to be in your life, as he once walked with Adam before he fell.

HOW? Simple. Bow your head now and ask him to lead your life. You already understand that you can't do it on your own, which is why you came to this forum for help. Tell him such. Spill it all. He listens and wants to help you.

In admitting that you cannot do it alone, admit also that you have screwed up in your life, and need someone (as we all do) to save you from the doom that you have created.

                    Romans 3:23
"...for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God..."

But we have hope and solace in Christ who died that we may live, and him through us. Christ prays for us to the father and will pray for you, if you ask him to...

                    Jesus Prays for All Believers
20"My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, 21that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. 22I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one: 23I in them and you in me. May they be brought to complete unity to let the world know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me. 24"Father, I want those you have given me to be with me where I am, and to see my glory, the glory you have given me because you loved me before the creation of the world. 25"Righteous Father, though the world does not know you, I know you, and they know that you have sent me. 26I have made you known to them, and will continue to make you known in order that the love you have for me may be in them and that I myself may be in them."

You have a choice at this turning point in your life. Accept it and change your life forever, reject it and continue to fail. Nothing in this life can fill that void, and deep down, you know I'm right.

16"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son,[6] that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. 18Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son.[7]

                    Let me know,

                    -Hikage

I dunno, how tall are you? Basically it comes down to if you want to get really good with your hands, go for boxing. If you're trying more for like NHB or kickboxing stuff, do MT. Personal preference really, whichever you like better.

                        Awesome.

Here's one to keep you motivated and strong throughout tough times...

"And everyone born of the Lord overcomes the world. This being the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith"

                        - I John 5:4

                        ...and for reliability

"Cursed is the one who trusts in man, who depends on flesh for his strength and whose hear turns away..."

                        Jeremiah 17:6

This isn't saying that laboring or some self-reliance is bad, rather at the end of the day its our maker who really throws the chips.

Suprised that ole Tom Yum knows a few versus, ? I would expect that your response to ole TY is that quoting versus alone is not what God is about.

yes sir, deeds and faith.....deeds and faith.

The Maury Povich Show. Next weeks theme will be "I'm having an affair and pregnant with my cousins baby daddy's best friend and my crossdressing transvestite lesbian husband don't know about it."

If any of that made any sense then you have been watching too much Springer.

personally i think one of the worst things u can do is put ur faith in something that may or may not be there and bank on it to help u out in all ur problems in life. only u can help urself. u need to put ur faith in ur own abilities and yourself cause honestly, thats all it comes down to.
