If I were making this up than wouldn't I have won?
You guys are a bunch or stupid morons. There was another member here who took the name H2H after it had become my nickname.
Thanks for the compliment.
Now put the sock puppet H2H down slowly and step away from the medicine cabinet...
I'm not the most religious although I do believe to some extent. But I certainly don't believe in bashing those who go around helping others just because they go to church every Sunday. There are evil people who hide behind religion and use it to justify all kinds of evils. Bashing them is great, but somebody like Hikage who tries and does help people through religion, doesn't deserve the shit that he's getting.

How do you know who does and doesn't help people through religion? Its difficult to truly see a person's heart. Are you there when an obscure person volunteers their time and efforts to serve food to the hungry in an unknown shelter? Are you there when someone invests in others talents? Are you there when some unknown person gives generously of their heart and hearing to someone who is troubled? Even then, its harder to see a person's faith, when they pray, what they pray for...
Yeah, hikeage doesn't deserve the rap that he's getting. I feel bad for him every time he tries to share the bible and people start doggin him.
Yeah...I guess everyone should take your words on the theological and spiritual as well as social implications of Christianity to heart.
With Live long and Prosper for a signature. I realise your trying to cover somebody whose catching flak (very noble), but...they need to recognise what they're doing, let them defend their own actions instead of hiding behind you.
As for the rest of you, on both sides of the argument, where do you get off giving people spiritual advice...are you missionaries or some shit?
I wouldn't be so harsh...but...what the ****?
You can help somebody, sure, but not by telling them to "find allah" "buddha" or "jesus", somebody has to find their own center...just do your best to console and advise, or help any way you can, but their are obvious alterior and indeed selfish or straigh-up inane and preposterous motives, even if you aren't initially aware of them, in trying to guide one's spiritual path.
This is something that you should never try and do to somebody. You'll just end up making things worse for them in the long run, or pulling the proverbial wool over their eyes.
However, for somebody to figure out what works for them, and for somebody to consistantly search themselves and question everything is great. Nobody is completely whole spiritually, from anyone's perspective...questioning the abstracts is what makes us human, and is quite engaging and healthy, whereas believing what your told by others without thinking is a cheap escape...and accomplishes little or nothing towards personal growth.
I'd certainly say that somebody like UBL has an evil heart. But I never hear hikage justifying why "God hates fags", why "Negroes are impure" or angrily telling non-believers that they will be "damned to hell". I'm sure he's human like we all are, but he's trying to do good and if religion is a vehicle for accomplishing that than what's the big deal?
One of the reasons I said something, along with the fact that I hate EmptyneSs.
I see what you are saying. You are talking about radical extremists.
Emptyness and you are politically different people; that's probably the real reason why you don't get along.

Well, I share the same core beliefs as he. Hikeage is one of the gang; I don't think he was trying to intentionally offend anyone.

God gives men free will. I can't tell another person what to do, but I can share some wisdom from the Bible with them when they need help or do good things for them when they need it. I can give freely without any return; seeing someone's life improve is my reward. Still we all screw up now and then - I don't have any room to condemn.
Even though I am a Chrisitian, I still respect other people who have different beliefs. A Muslim friend tells me that Muslims believe that Jesus was a profit (but not the son of God). That's his belief and I can respect that. We can still be friends, shoot the s#!+ and hang out.

I know that Christians are sometimes seen as naive sheep in the Lions den, but not all Christians grew up protected and innocent. Jesus invited anyone, regardless of race and social status to follow him and learn how to treat other fellows.
Are you a hip-hop fan? Ever hear that song 'Jesus Walk with Me'...I think that's what its called...if you weren't listening carefully enough, you'd think it was just a nother cash money song from another Murder inc. brand, but you should hear it. The guy came up from the thugs, prostitutes and bangers. Guys like that grow up real fast; some are lucky enough to gain wisdom at an early age, can relate their own life experiences to the Bible and change their life for the better.
dude look how upset i make this junior high kid on the internet. his obsession with me is his main motivation in his posts, although his obsessions with drugs an 8 year old bodybuilder and tom yum motivate him as well.

He asked for help. I gave my honest opinion. Am I to water down what I think so that I don't "offend?"

So in other words, everyone is to invent their own god. Brilliant.
Someone out there has to be right. More than likely, one of those someone's is someone who comes from a traditional religion. I don't believe for one second that creating one's own god is ever going to result in truth.
I know what you going to say. There is no truth. But in saying "there is no truth", you have just made a truth.
We can't help you unless you are willing to help yourself. You can tell yourself that you aren't gay, it’s your boyfriend that is, but that isn't going to help you overcome this sickness.
uh oh, once again h2h is projecting his own issues on others to compensate for his insecurities.
also i think my last post summed things up real well, so ima repost it

so believing in a god that someone else made up is better?
