Look champ, you've been told a million times already that your prior service does not grant you a free pass to spew any crap you like for the rest of your life without being quesitoned or challenged. The rest of the world is not pUke.

and then hid behind that service in a desperate bid to justify every stupid thing you ever said or did after that. Yeah, just like him!

Did you fight to protect private ownership as well? Whether you like it or not (and you don't seem to), you did.

And now he tries to switch it around and paint himself as a victim! So many angles in one post! Funny coming from the guy who just cannot stand to have his 'proclamations' questioned.

Point is, the whole thing is complicated and it's hard to do any one thing right without messing up a whole other thing badly.

Which brings us around to the point a few people are trying to make:
You make some good points Boar, but any fool can be right some of the time if all he ever does is criticize everything. And you start to look like any fool if that's all you do.
Calling Mike a rapist (or supporter of rape, or whatever, I can't be arsed to look up the quote) is taking it too far.

That's the last I'm going to comment on this.
If my pointing out the atrocities can be said to help the enemy, how can Mike trying to suppress it NOT be considered supporting the behavior? You can't have it both ways. Fact is a Army that seems unconcerned "we will win first, worry about the war crimes later" ONLY gets to escape prosecution for the war crimes by winning the war. His wanting to hide and suppress the war crimes allows the enemy to say, "see they deny and cover it up" THAT helps them recruit. On the other hand I say we should make public examples of the war crimes perpetrators....make a show of hunting down the troops committing war crimes and hang them, show the world we neither condone, hide or cover up war crimes, that will HURT the enemies ability to recruit new fighters.

Now either Brewer was out of line for accusing me of aiding Al Qaeda or he aids those seeking to commit war crimes by trying to ignore it until after the war is over....you cant have it both ways... either we were both wrong or neither of us are..thats why I used the point in the first place to show the egotistic attitude of the propaganda he spews.

So whats the military tactics forum for? You opened it, I watched vets come, experience the mindset and leave...the forum has a sub forum for Military tactics but vets aren't welcome unless their opinion matches yours or Brewers or Jubaji's....You had two soldiers (combat veterans) who ARE involved in conflict in the very places we are now posting about...trolls who never served caused them to leave because truth is vets arent welcome here unless they support the same views as Brewer (a psyops guy) and jubaji (never been in the Military)...news flash thats gonna be VERY FEW vets. It's just not the environment they're going to feel welcome in due to the trolling by people who havent served, as the Moderator of the forum thats up to you to make create a place they can post without being hassled by people who havent any idea what their talking about. Or you can continue to have a Military forum thats really a place for psyops announcements and trolls to play.

well you don't have to slap anyone's back over it, but yeah i'm saying that the opinions furthest to the left and right (and Boar's is not among the extreme by a long shot) have a value. as i said, they call attention to things we may miss otherwise. i doesn't matter if you think they're right or wrong, disagreement is just as necessary as agreement. by all means, disagree with Boar, but don't tell him he shouldn't be bringing the stuff up.

Why would it surprise you this was the largest opium crop in decades in a place we went to war? Did you think we were going to interrupt business just because they proclaimed how drugs were used to finance terrorism? Remember the ads on TV that said if you bought drugs you were aiding terrorism? Interesting since the drug the Taliban profits from is opium and we didn't do shit to stop it's production in the country we invaded...seems like we would wanna crush that flow of money to our enemies if we really intended to win huh? Sometimes the truth ain't so pretty and thats why people don't like it aired. Its makes their little brains hurt when the reality of our actions don't match propaganda we preach.

I mean geesh the Taliban?! Weren't they the ones supposedly responsible for 911? That was why we invaded right? But we didn't touch their source of income? What happened to the war on drugs? ESPECIALLY the ones supposedly used to finance 911.

Interesting of all the things we accidentally attacked/destroyed while there though, I still havent heard we accidentally bombed any poppy fields though so maybe the people oughta have their weddings there.

Hmmm another combat decorated vet and a man who ran for president, or a internet troll who never served, who's opinion weighs more in the real world?

If all you can do is compare me to a Veitnam vet who ran for president I guess I can compare you with a draft dodger jubaji ....yeah that feels right....

...because like John Kerry I served my country with distinction however My opinion isn't welcome to the ears of people who never served. It's interesting how all the people who don't have the gumption to serve their country themselves have the biggest mouths on the internet where they don't have to back that up either though ain't it?

Priceless how quickly the people who haven't served will hide behind the fact their forum is theirs and the right to freedom of speech doesn't apply on their forum....as a Veteran who fought to keep your little precious forum possible in a country with free speech laws that shows your colors pretty damn clearly doesn't it? Your forum. your opinion...but I'm unAmerican.

Maybe that explains the lack of vets on this site, our opinions and experiences upset those who avoided this in their own lives so the opinions and experiences of those who have served their country bother you. If I'm not welcome to express my opinion of the country and Military I served in on YOUR board then say so.

You're not "ranking" anything. There is no element of comparative analysis in your rant, you are just saying how much you dislike one country.

Makes you look pretty bad to not have the ambition or courage to leave when you consider the place you live to be the worst place on earth.

But, maybe its just easier to lay around on your ignorant ass bitching and moaning and wallowing in hypocrisy.

    Can't Ski either.

Didn't the 'Von Trappe' family have something to do with Liechtenstein?

    Anywhere else?

Mind you, if the Swiss Toblerone munchers hadn't invented the 'Swiss Army Knife', you'd be forgiven for thinking they didn't have an army
