Oh right. Sorry man.
Anyways i first saw this on TV a few days ago. Good thing she didn't fight back...most likely they would of all jumped her and beat her alot worse. I mean, they did kidnap her, and false imprisonment as they say. I think all of them should get adult charges...that wasn't any playing around in that video... animalistic huh?

There are no second chances.

*drools*
this thread is terrible.
Just shows how religion can take over a subject and turn it into a complete waste of time.

GOOD THING SHE DIDN'T FIGHT BACK?
Are you serious? They wanted a VICTIM. They wanted to video tape a beating, not a fight...Fighting back or defending oneself is always preferable to taking a beating.
This turn the other cheek BS is getting old and the VICTIM MINDSET pisses me off!
She should have gutted one or two of them and made her ESCAPE. Those BOYS at the door ain't gonna stop her from leaving if she's ready to kill one or both to get to safety...
Escalate the force until they change their mind, simple as that.
(Lets deal with the issue of morality on another thread...)

Originally posted by JKDBrando View PostThe girl that got beat will get better, the best justice served will be for her to forgive them and let God deal with them. God won't serve Justice on them if she seeks revenge (going to the courts and trying to sue them is revenge). She must forgive and forget. It is not worth her time.
May God have Mercy on thier souls.
Many offenses can be forgiven, but preservation of life is respecting yourself and those who are waiting for you at home. The girl was a target of multiple attackers and if she felt her life was in danger, she certainly had the right to use force to preserve her own life.

Easy as pie...
Originally posted by Mike BrewerIt was a bit more complicated than I led you to believe, and I didn't want you mad at me, so I did it myself, Tant. Apparently, you actually have to select each and every post in order to move them.
Actually... I found a shortcut to move entire threads...
Easy. Let me give you the details.

I keep tying in the government with God and Satan and Satan influences this world because he does, he is in control of the Roman Catholic Church which controls the governments.

Of course, with the high birth rate among Mexicans maybe you have a point.

On a serious note, and I think I'm going to end here with the religious debate, but you might want to look into the history of how and who put together (canonized) that compilation of texts referred to as the Bible. It likely took place at a Council in North Africa. Either way, no one disputes the fact the canonization (all the text chosen to form the compilation that is - and what was decided not to be put in) took place approximately 300 years after the death of Christ. The mere fact Paul has some letters in the New Testament addressed to the church of Corinth evidences he was writing a Christian community existing before the canonized Bible (because his letters were put in the Bible). Furthermore, those letters to a church of Greek culture and language, in a place he is not even located at, rests upon his ordained authority (human authority) and not the Bible. The Bible is not even mentioned in his letters - nor anywhere in the New Testament. Nor does Paul ever explicitly state "follow the Bible." He commands rather that Corinth follow his (Paul's) teaching, those things he taught them. If the Bible was the sole authority for Corinth then it makes no sense they look to Paul far away when they would have a Bible sitting in front of their face.
Of course I suppose being illiterate never helped most of ancient mankind anyways. Kind of sucks God gave over 2,000 years of large numbers of illiterate people a book to read for their only eternal salvation. Even in more raw deal he made it in Hebrew and Greek. I don't know about you but I'm only literate in one language, so I would be pretty fucked if some salvation message came down in Cantonese.
(that's my last input on the religious aspect of this thread, so if you give a rebuttal I'll let it stand as the last word. But I do advise you read about the history of the Bible. There are some good Protestant authorities on the subject if you don't trust Catholics or Eastern Orthodox. In fact the Protestants made excellent contributions in use of the "Historical Critical Method" of Biblical interpretations)

Gut them? I am pretty sure she didn't have a knife on her, r she would of pulled it. Now, yes, they did "kidnap" her and then wanted to film the beating... I still stick to what i say, if she decided to start throwing her fists back at them, the girls would of probably all jumped her...thats my mindset, i dont know about yours.
Yes, i agree fighting back is the best way, which is what i would of done. But she shouldn't sat there and take it, get the **** outta dodge. If not, then grab a kitchen knife.

I remember when I was attacked on this message board the same way that Girl was being attacked on the video.
The board took on the exact same attitude as the kids in the video which they despise so much because of their actions.
