For me, working-out should be done along with proper diet ofcourse.

You have to experiment on yourself and chose the one which works for you the best.

Yep, eat a well balanced diet. Ensure you get most of your carbohydrates from a rich source of vegetables, pulses and fruits. Lean proteins from fish, eggs, chicken. Supplement with whey if you are doing a lot of strength training, but be aware of the additional calories in the supplements.

If you are training hard in martial arts you do not need a weight loss diet as such, just reduce sugars and increase cardio.

FML...I'm on a diet right now that I CAN'T workout on... HCG aka "dachau" diet. Give myself a shot every morning and then 500cal of rabbit food twice a day. So far in 7 days of the "very low calorie" thing and I've lost 7 lbs...but it's too soon to, pun intended, weigh in on the diet yet.

Of course, I'm looking to drop like 30 lbs to get back to my old fight weight...

yeah...it's not. It's pretty drastic, but, what the hell...couldn't be worse for me than the shit I used to put myself through in a week.

Since I feel it's more 80% diet and 20% exercise, I worked on my diet first, then worked on incorporating more exercise.I started on diet, trying to get it right. Then I quickly added walking. Plain old walking. Now I've stepped it up to an elliptical machine. I think for the best results, you really need both, especially if your life is usually sedentary.

The theory behind taking the hormone is that it forces your body to metabolize more fat stores and is muscle sparing compared to just plain starving...which is its role in pregnancy...which may or may not hold any water if taking it exogenously for dieting purposes. I don't have insurance and I have no idea what a wellness check up or going to visit a nutritionist would set me back, so I didn't (I'm a dumbass) have my body comp done before and after. All that I know is that I feel a lot better at this weight and that my blood pressure and heart rate are back on track (they weren't before).

Even if I lost a bit of muscle mass, I'm happy I did the diet, and I would even consider doing another, shorter round. Yes it's "cheating" compared to just eating right and exercising (which I'm doing now)...but it worked for me. I don't know if I'd recommend it to others though, because the science behind it is pretty flimsy (the big meta-analysis on it showed that by-far-and-large there was no difference in weight loss between a control group and a group given hcg...the hcg people like to split hairs about the way the studies were done, and to be fair the studies don't follow the diet protocol to the letter...that being said...some of the diet stuff seems to based on very questionable physiology...in any case I decided to take the shots based on the possibility the hcg would be muscle sparing.)

HCG is often used by body builders coming off a cycle to reduce the androgenic backlash effects of steroids, such as when excess testosterone in the system aromatizes into estrogen and results in gyno or nut shrinkage. It's also used in men and women's fertility tX, because it helps increase (slightly) and/or stabilize testosterone production.

Meh...But I'm not a juicer (they tend to really, REALLY know their shit) or an endocrinologist, so...my word is pretty much good for nothing.

Based upon my own anecdotal experience and those of many other people - hcg worked. Based upon the science - there are no good studies that confirm (or I would argue deny, since they failed to follow the correct protocol on the shit) it's efficacy as a weight loss aide/route.

Best way to lose weight is still exercise and proper nutrition (not "diet") and ensuring calories in < calories out.

                    Or...a winny/ECA/clen stack. lol.

Best solution is working out with proper diet, try to avoid oily food and junk food.

Raw veggies foods, water foods, and protein foods are the best choices for the dieting, and working out.
Raw veggies foods and water foods lose the weight and protein based foods burn the fat and build the muscles. Use this diet combination for the better results.
