actually, i think you're all wrong about this. no style can descide the outcome of a fight. it's the fighter who wins it. a man with no experience in any martial art could beat a man with 10th dan on any day so long as they no what they're doing.

Rather than any individual pure art that will take years of study to understand all of the component parts of the body which with the right instruction can show you how to deal with any conflict scenario.
MMA transcends the need the need for thought just mix it all up and see what you have, as a mixed martial 'artist' try it with paint, get all the colours of the rainbow mix them all together and see what results, lol.
On a serious note, you are totally correct and it is a conclusion that most will admit to in the end, which is amusing for a newcomer like myself as it is just like the schoolyard banter of "my dad is bigger than your dad", "but my dad does martial arts", so "my dad does MMA", ad infinitum.
I thought forums were for inteligent debate, open discussions, not childish bitch slapping and closed minded rhetoric.
But what the hell, who am I to spoil peoples fun, lol.

I like how for the 3 years I've been following this forum not once has somebody backed up their challenge. It always ends with "Oh since you live in Colorado and I live in Lichenstein I guess I can't kick your ass you lucky son of a *****."
