Guest repliedNo, be specific, I said nothing that warrants any ridicule from you. I am waiting for your quotes and exact reasons why you mock it.Originally posted by jubaji View PostPeople can read them and decide for themselves, clown.

There you go. Do they have to wear big rubber noses and funny hats during training? Oh, do you teach them the technique where you pull a handkerchief out of your pocket and it just keeps coming out longer and longer? That's a classic.
Jubaji, my mocking friend,
Unless a person learns to fight in form, (as I call it), they are going to spoil their skills and be unable to actually use their techniques in combat the way they were intended. It seems that there are few today in the West that want to teach this way. I start to think that you and some others have no idea what I mean by form fighting?

Guest repliedOriginally posted by Jujujason View PostTC, you remind me of this Chinese guy that I met 9 yrs ago. In a very thick Chinese accent, he said to me, "You know Jet Li? His kung fu... it is real!" I thought to myself, "What a dumb-fucker this guy is." Then I responded in a mock Chinese accent (The only reason that I did so was because Chinese people are so damn proud of anything and everything Chinese, as if nothing of any other origin is any good at all.), "You know UFC? Jet Li go in UFC and get ass kicked, hard!" To which he had no good response, kinda like you.
I am not talking about Jet Li, I am talking about the many many many many masters of Kung fu that you have no idea of.

Guest repliedAgain, like all those who shame their selves, you offer no proof or facts or evidence or any logical deduction for your vicious attacks upon me. I wait for sound reason and good conversation and thought provoking arguments. Instead I get this kind of dribble. Personal attacks with no backing, no reason for their attacks. I get the idea that some of the people from other forums come in ere and just attack me without reason.Originally posted by FLMKane View PostYou are a disgrace. When you say that no real kung fu practitioner would talk as I did. What do you mean by that? Show me exactly what you are talking about ? I am a real kung fu practitioner, so what are you talking about?

Kung Fu is one of the most effective fighting systems on the planet, (in my opinion). I
Abd you persistently refer to MMA as a martial art. Its a goddamn sport, a set of rules. Any practitioner of any MA may fight under those rules.

You are a disgrace. Stop ruining the name of Kung Fu with your pointless Karate Kid Blabbering. No real kung fu practitioner would talk like such a stupid nitwit. And what kind of a lunatic let you teach?Originally posted by TigerClaw View PostHello,
You said that there would be no respect unless the kung fu masters started beating up others. I do not agree there. hey already have respect from centuries of development from war and actual combat of many of the styles.
You also said that the grappler can also just attack the eys groin etc. But I would say that many of them have not trained that way, unlike the kung fu fighters that train that way. Also there is a great amount of technique
involved when we talk of attacking these areas. It is not just some simple thing a kid can do.You are oversimplifying things.
The worst man you would ever want to meet in a real fight and try to grapple him would have been one of my instructors. He would immediately have the vital areas attacked and the grappler would be in great shock. I have seen him fight similar. Because, as I have said, there is a different mindset. As I pointed out in this post, I showed other experts in martial arts agreeing with me and even the military is taking interest in this kind of combat real fighting.
I think it can be dangerous to not inform students of the reality of combat survival type fighting. if the students are only used to practicing for tournaments and sport, then they miss much of what MARTIAL ( or warlike) fighting has to offer.
Again, when I talk of such combat techniques etc, I am only refering to the best in the Kung Fu world, the masters and experts who have developed their style. I am not refering to the Kung Fu people who have only had a few years and who give it all up to become kick boxers in combat.
The way that i teach my students to fight is what I call, "form fighting". Every move and technique can flow into the next and the stances are thee ec. It looks just like fighting in forms. The men who origionated the forms did actually fight like that (I believe). They did not just all fight like so many kick boxers today. Kung Fu fighting is a whole different way of thinking and doing combat. Yes, this kind of fighting takes years to master. but this is the kind of Kung Fu person I am talking about

And the idea that UFC fighting has no reality in combat is very right?Originally posted by TigerClaw View PostThey mock kung fu and speak as if it has no reality in combat. That idea is very wrong.

Ok Il explain this a bit more clearly.Originally posted by TigerClaw View PostYes, and that is my point basically. But it seems that there are some who act as if MMA fighters are far more effective in real combat than Kung Fu fighters. They mock kung fu and speak as if it has no reality in combat. That idea is very wrong. Usually when people talk like this they have hardly any understanding of Kung Fu techniques or the long history of its development in actual combat and war situations etc.
your confronted with another fighter, he closes the distance: can you imediatly eye gouge him?.....maybe but the guy would have to be blind, in which case attacking the eyes wouldnt be as rewarding, so NO
In order to get that close you need to get in a clinch, or take them to the ground or get into some sortve grapple position, somthing UFC fighters for example deal with very often and with a resisting oponent and in most cases an above normal strength compared to your average joe bloggs down the road, Im pretty certain a extremly large contingent of kung fu fighters do not have regular fights with a above normal strength people (which are fully resistant and are trying to take your head off)
where do you some how draw the conclusion that just because a kung fu fighter can rip a guys eyes out that he can some how do the same to some one who has had better training and can just as easily rip your eyes out?
and most hardout kung fu fighters arent even interested in competition fighting, due to the values they are taught with training so why they do they care if someones saying that a ufc fighter is the ultimate fighter? if they were truely better and were confident in there ability they would have no need to feel threatened or offended but what other people are saying.

I would've loved to have been pimp-slapped. It would've given me the excuse to prove how hokie pure kung fu (without the help of any supplementary art/s) is =)
