I'm sure this event happened. If it really did, you should've been pimp slapped in the face.

My apologies if I offended anyone, but I'll make fun of anyone, even my fellow white folks! J~

leave your racism out of the discussion

Your point would have been made better without the bigotry.

LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
There you go. Do they have to wear big rubber noses and funny hats during training? Oh, do you teach them the technique where you pull a handkerchief out of your pocket and it just keeps coming out longer and longer? That's a classic.

TC, you remind me of this Chinese guy that I met 9 yrs ago. In a very thick Chinese accent, he said to me, "You know Jet Li? His kung fu... it is real!" I thought to myself, "What a dumb-fucker this guy is." Then I responded in a mock Chinese accent (The only reason that I did so was because Chinese people are so damn proud of anything and everything Chinese, as if nothing of any other origin is any good at all.), "You know UFC? Jet Li go in UFC and get ass kicked, hard!" To which he had no good response, kinda like you.

Guest repliedThere is no humiliation at all in any of the links you show. Be specific, when you paint with such a large brush you miss the details.Originally posted by jubaji View PostI provided links to your humiliation. You appear to be on track to earn the same fate here.

Guest repliedHello, and nice to talk with you, you said that kung fu just doesn't work anymore and then you said, "but what do I know"..I think the last past is the main issue here. You may not be that familiar with some of the techniques in kung fu and the combat survival aspects of it.Originally posted by legshot420 View PostKung-Fu is the grandfather of all martial arts and should be respected, but much of its techniques just don't work anymore. Of course, there is SanShou (which is the application of Kung-Fu), but even in this martial art much of the techniques of Kung_Fu have been removed. But what do I know, I'm just some guy on an internet forum.
Kung Fu is one of the most effective fighting systems on the planet, (in my opinion). In a good solid style, almost every technique works in real combat. It is just that all techniques take practice to master and to work for the martial artist. This practice takes time and a great deal of two man sparring forms and application. To make kung fu work for someone and become one of the most detailed, complex, powerful, and useful martial arts on the planet, it needs to be studied and developed for that persons build strengths etc. This takes many years of hard work and it seems that in our Western culture with the fast get it now mentality such mastery is sledom achieved. Then the ones who represent Kung Fu do not present it properly and kung fu gets a bad name. I have seen this many times when i have visited tournaments, the Kung Fu fighters will do forms and have stances etc but when they come to sparring (the so called point sparring) they seem to give it all up and become kick boxers. This point sparring, in my opinion wrecks their form fighting. I know that it becomes a sport, but many have not seen real kung fu two man sparring or real kung fu combat for that matter. So most of the negative undersanding about kung fu I believe comes from a watered down sport competition demonstration of kung fu, or rather kick boxing.
I teach my students to fight in form and wth style and stances and proper hand positioning etc. from the beginning. This takes longer but in the end is better, in my opinion and experience.

Guest repliedYes, and that is my point basically. But it seems that there are some who act as if MMA fighters are far more effective in real combat than Kung Fu fighters. They mock kung fu and speak as if it has no reality in combat. That idea is very wrong. Usually when people talk like this they have hardly any understanding of Kung Fu techniques or the long history of its development in actual combat and war situations etc.Originally posted by KenshiRyan View PostAll I'll add is there is a massive difference between fighting and selfdefence, ufc is fighting, eye gouging etc etc is self defence, its called ultimate fighting, not ultimate self defence.

If we get back to the original point, as you said above a kung fu fighter does not have to use those techniques unless needed, your example was two men with knives, however the ufc it is not filled with knife weilding twins haha, just one guy and their fists etc etc therefore by your terms it is uneccisary to use those techniques in the ufc.Originally posted by TigerClaw View Postkenshiryan,
Yes I agree with you, the techniques I speak of are for combat survival, a kung fu fighter does not have to do those moves unless needed. If I was being attacked by two men with knives I am going to think about using combat survival techniques.
problem solved.
All I'll add is there is a massive difference between fighting and selfdefence, ufc is fighting, eye gouging etc etc is self defence, its called ultimate fighting, not ultimate self defence.

Guest repliedI wish you would stop lying. I have never been chased off any forum. What you might mean to say is, that I spoke claer truth and exposed the errors of some in another forum, some who had big egos and arrogant. The problem was that one I exposed happened to be a moderator it seems. False power and ego can bann many a true person. So be careful what side you are on. You could not be further from the truth in your uneducated, mean spirited, slanderous, attacks.Originally posted by jubaji View PostYou have proven time and again that you merit nothing more than mocking. That's why you keep getting chased off forums like this.

The best thing you could do here, is to start from scratch with me, apologize for your mistake and seek judge me truly by what I say and examine it. If you disagree show clear and detailed reasons why.
