Without showing too much identifying information, can you post some pictures of this training compound?

I am not being funny, I am actually genuinely interested, as there is no way my wife would ever let me do that to our house. So, I am kind of jealous if you have that sort of set-up.

So as not to do what i ask of others, even though there are pics of me still on here, and there where plenty of pics of the training setup.

I give to you the compound.


Here we have the porch, where we train when the weather permits. Then the tree stump we use to practice throwing knives and such.

Next we have the front yard. Then the front room. the furniture is moved off into a side room.

Unlike TigerClaw who has mentioned, and you can ask Jade or Jubaji who have both seen it, where TigerClown mentioned that he stepped between two knife wielding attackers and talked them down, and fought gangsters in subways, etc.

I've said before, and I'll say again - I'm not a master martial artist. If I fight multiple people, a guy with a weapon, or a guy that physically or mentally outclasses me, I'll almost certainly lose. That isn't to say I won't fight - but that I'm a realist and I think I'd probably lose. The fact is, the RBSD guys would too, they're just too insecure to admit it.

As far as RBSD being "deadly", I agree, it's nonsense. You can't test most of it.

I think that you probably can test it, but the RBSD guys just won't test it.

I was reading Renzo and Royler's book last night (Love that book) and the first few chapters really answer all these combatives and TMA guy's complaints about grappling. It answers it better then I could. These guys should at least read the book before they open their cake-holes.

What book is that? I'd love to hear their thoughts on it.

There are severe insecurity problems involved. That's why everyone that disagrees with them is part of some clique that's out to get them. Or why everyone that does a grappling martial art is "gay." Or all the other weird/obsessive/conspiratorial/insecure things that go through TTEscrima's head.

Anyway, I was really interested in seeing the training area. Genuinely interested, as that sounded like my dream house. Ok, I guess you thought I had some ulterior motive. Whatever, jerk. That was NOT the case. I just wanted to see what you had going, because even if I think your kung fu and "combatives" training is a total joke, the idea of an entire house dedicated to martial arts was intriguing to me.

That was my idea, too. I think the idea is awesome, but the training is likely laughable. I can only say it's "likely," though. I've never seen it. For all I know it could be awesome and completely workable. I just haven't seen any proof of it.

And for the record, jerk, ONLY those people who claim to be an expert martial artist and then provide NO proof should do the right thing and post pictures.

I don't know about this. I have a problem with the whole idea of making people show pictures etc. If they want to, great. But if they don't, I don't see what the big deal is. I don't believe in the Appeal to Authority line of reasoning. Someone being an expert, or training LEOs, or training military people isn't necessarily right about everything they say. There are ways to empirically test theories. The MMA guys have largely done it. It's up to the RBSD guys to do the same. It's not a matter of what you know, it's a matter of what you can prove.

Tigerclaw is one of the more arrogant posters on any forum. Bragging, making outrageous claims, and posting MORE then Jubaji ever did. I was half convinced he was one of YOU, designed solely to "get" Jubaji. That's why I asked for a picture, and I was not the only one.

I support Jubaji now because he is right about Martial arts, and right about wrestling and Grappling. I think he is right about all aspects of those things. And I have read plenty of books on the subject which back his ideas up. I have also seen with my eyes that grappling is superior to your combatives, and to "TMA"s.

That's because RBSD is too deadly to ever actually be tried out.

The chip on your shoulder is about as big as any I have seen. I think I am done talking to you and your crew. You sound like a bunch of fantasy geeks to me. Go back to your crocop where "You don't tap out on the street" is your slogan.

I commented to Boar someone at defend wanted pics of the school, he laughed. He said he'd posted pics on here twice, one thread was flamed so badly by certain parties the entire thing was removed (that says a lot seeing what gets to stay). The other thread is still here but the pics were taken down after all the flaming in the other thread from the usual crowd of jealous clowns.

I'm still waiting to see jubs post the newspaper clips and pictures of his Wrestling Championship claims, I'm sure he'll mouth off again in this thread but you can bet he won't post anything but more flames.

To my knowledge none of the usual cast of characters has ever posted pics of their school (or their training), but then when we have clowns who just rip on them without having the balls to post their own why should anyone? I've seen pics of KOTF, Hardball, Garland, MattBla, and Tigerclaw but that's it.

After much laughter Boar says right after Jubs provides proof of all his claims for the first time, we'll post pics for the third time. Seems like a reasonable response to me.

Insecure? Hardly, I'm more than old and experienced enough to know I'm exclusively interested in women. However after several thousand posts from one infatuated queen and several hundred more from her fans, I know what to expect here so I figured might as well save myself some time and note that part early on before jubs got all lathered up again.

But now that you've explained what it is, I'm with Mr. Arieson - that's cool as hell (at least in theory).

It is sweet when 24/7/365 you can find someone willing to train. We literally run classes at all hours because some people have day jobs and some have night jobs and several are retired so we have nearly constant classes and training. I don't think we've said no to someone who wanted a class at a certain time of day or holiday in a decade. Everyone in each family must train daily, wives kids etc in order to be accepted into the group so that things run smoothly. Otherwise we've found wives get jealous about the amount of time their husbands spend training or vice versa.

Let me break it down for you. Boar lives with his wife (a female), KOTF lives with his wife (also a female) and I live with my wife, (also a female). We live in what Mercop (and others who come to train) describe as "the compound" a place that is entirely dedicated to training, with separate living quarters, indoor and outdoor training areas, Wooden dummies, multiple Iron Palm stations, edged weapon training and throwing facilities etc. And Knifethrower lives in another state and he is also married to a female.
