Does that settle your inquisitive mind? Interesting that's all you managed to take away from that post though.
    Yah, makes sense.

You get coaching during your street fights? I guess things are different where you're from...That's pretty awesome.

That would be true if he weren't quoting posts that no one else has quoted...Maybe I missed them, though.

Maybe, but it had to be said. I'm glad to see you've fixed the problem. You shouldn't be so touchy when people try to help you. It reeks of insecurity.

The contraction of "you are" is "you're" - not "your." You and KOTF make that same error in every post and it's just gotten to me. I don't normally try to correct someone's grammar, but I had to correct this one. So, grammar lesson for the day. Flame on.

I'm speechless Jubaji. You really should have tucked up and shut up and maybe someone somewhere would have still believed your claims that you were a wrestling champion.

You were completely unable to explain the double leg so I did it for you, guess that really embarrassed you and you had to try to play it off.

This first little part was a generalization you made to try to sound like you knew something, it was clearly a BS grandstand that was lame as hell but it's all you had. Maybe, just maybe if your ego hadn't got in the way you'd have escaped with your BS claims intact but you just had to claim I was wrong.

Well, at this point its clear your ego would fill a battleship but your knowledge of the subject wouldn't cover a pin head.

Here we see a 2nd grader demonstrate more knowledge of the technique than you seem to posses. NOTE THE HEAD UNDER THE ARM PIT Granted Bronson's wrestling career started in 1st grade. By the time he stopped wrestling in the regular season after 6th grade and in the summer folk and freestyle seasons in 8th grade he was bringing home the gold in the NC State Games, Virginia Commonwealth Games (as well as other tournaments) and placed th and 5th in the nationals for his age/weight class.

Those double-leg takedown skills have been used on the football field from elementary school to the varsity team.

And here Rudy Ruiz - UWM Wrestling Coach shows a proper Double Leg Takedown: AGAIN, NOTE THE HEAD UNDER THE ARM PIT.

YouTube - Rudy Ruiz - UWM Wrestling Coach shows Double Leg Takedown

And from Wrestling coach.com we have a Double Leg Takedown by NCAA All American John Hanrahan. NOTE THE HEAD UNDER THE ARM PIT.

YouTube - WrestlingCoach.com Hi C to Double Leg Takedown by John Hanrahan NCAA All American

And from the Spindle Sports Academy website:

Step 1) Left leg forward, jab to face as you change level.

Step 2) Front leg slides between opponents feet as you push off
your rear foot. Keep elbows close to your body.

Step 3) Rear leg steps up so your feet are parallel and outside your opponents front leg.

Step 4) Your front hand grabs opponents back leg around his knee.

Step 5) Your back hand grabs opponents front leg around his knee.

Step 6) Your head is on the outside of your opponents thigh/hip.

Step 7)Your head and rear shoulder are under opponents arm pit or on top of opponents front hip.

    Double Leg Takedown

Now we could take the word of an obvious troll who tried to explain the human body's reaction to impact by telling people to hit a pencil and observe, and who wasn't able to answer questions about how the double leg functioned. OR we can look at all the people who are verifiable authorities on the subject. Wow, what do you know, you claim they are all doing it wrong because they did exactly what I recommended, they placed their head under the arm pit which you went out of your way to say was wrong when I advised it. You said the idea was to move to the center NOT THE ARM PIT!!!!

You ain't ever wrestled a day in your life as I suspected all along.

Hows it feel? You got schooled on wrestling (your supposed specialty) by TTescrima.

By all means feel free to bust on my hair or posting style again, I'm sure everyone will be duly impressed.

You would drive your head into his chest for a peak double leg. Otherwise, I imagine he was talking about the shoulder going towards the core.

I think that this is what jubaji was meaning when he said, "Don't lead with the head." It just means that you don't bend at the waist and lean forward. You bend at the knees and keep your body straight.

Your head is exposed the second you wrap the legs. But, should not be before you shoot your hands out (after contact).

Jubaji is the reason I read this place.

    Thank you, Jubaji
Actually dude there is a new clown in town, Tigerclaw, he's the big draw here these days. Jub's homosexual projections and ... or have gotten boring and Tigerclaw's posting is fresh and funny. In fact I dare say Jub's realized he wasn't the big draw and tried posting something other than his normal one liners and that's how we got to see just how little he really knew about wrestling or geography (basements in FL, LOL) not to mention his priceless analogy of a pencil to describe how the human body reacts to impact.
