You would realize that the 'point of no return' exists if you had practical experience in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu or another grappling/wrestling art.

Your escape is perfectly legal in Sport MMA competitions yet we don't see anyone doing it. Why? It isn't a novel escape. If it worked, it would be seen all over the place.

There is background with Bruce Downey (aka TigerClaw) disrespecting others, claiming superiority, and spitting on the traditions and practitioners of Kung Fu.

He is he kind of guy who depends on the weak minded to accept his bait hook, line, and sinker. In short, an attention whore.

On the other forum (from which this thread is a spillover), he would not answer any direct questions and passive-aggressively insulted others every chance he got.

So, in the long history of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and other submission grappling/wrestling arts, nobody else has tried this enough or practiced it enough to make it work?

In BJJ, an art where submission escapes are just as important as submissions, there have been noble full-hearted attempts to try to escape the RNC by other means. Everyone is willing to try everything to come up with a new escape.

If your escape is high-percentage and works, then why, with all the history and number of BJJ practitioners, do we not see other people doing it?

Do you think you came up with something novel and original?

Yeah, I know the mockers follow me around. They have nothing better to do. Trying to actually have a real discussion about technique etc is almost impossible.

No, I am not bragging at all. I don't go around saying I am better than anyone. I merely share a kung Fu perspective and I discuss areas that we may differ on and I speak of survival combat fighting as opposed to sport MMA type of fighting and there is a difference. The real trouble makers are the ones who respond in arrogance and false assumptions and get all in a huff when I say that.

I am also tiered of some of the MMA crowd attacking Kung Fu as useless.

That's just sad, man. That many people cannot ALL be wrong, you know?

There is not that many people, a few hands full. And they are wrong many times. As soon as they attack Kung Fu as being useless etc they are wrong. Or when they make false assumptions about me they are wrong.

But I don't want to get into this irritating discussion. stick with the techniques and post your own pictures of escapes.
