When you gonna answer my question great and powerful Oz. Somebody already tore down your curtain and we can all see you just don't have an answer cause you have no clue what the hell anyone is talking about.
Does it make you feel bad when the adults talk about subjects over your head???
You haven't asked a legitimate question yet. Go ahead.
Ok fine. Why do you feel that anyone but yourself on this forum..doesn't know anything about Tai Chi. And why don't you enlighten us a little with you knowledge of the subject?
You seem to only be able to belittle people so answer the questions. I would like to see what knowledge you have that makes everyone else on the thread a rank amertaure. And no I am aware you haven't said that in words..it's you treatment of people that makes, I am sure, more than just myself aware of you feelings to other thread posters.
So in your infinite wisdom guide this tiny grasshopper pebble snatching martial artist to the enlighten path.
Or at the very least contibute something about the damn thread.
Knifethrower,
I don't remember the name of the form I was doing. I only learned the first fifteen moves or something. The class and the form were both boring. But I don't regret going. I went because I absolutely loved the instructor. I'd have gone to a class on knitting if he was teaching it. I just love his stories. Emphasis was on health. He was also my acupuncturist. I loved some of the primordial qi gong forms for back pain. Loved five animal frolics. Appreciate the little he's shared with me about topical Chinese herbs, etc. We're still friends.
2nd instructor mixed taiji, xinyi, bagua and qi gong. I went for a while, and then stopped b/c I wasn't learning how to fight, and that's what I wanted. Teacher kept getting new students and would have to go to the basics every time, but would mix and match all four styles, so we never delved deep into anything. And by then I wasn't into the health emphasis and wanted to play with sticks. Also got confused b/c his chen style was different than the other chen style I knew. Etc.
There are a lot of things that are "a fuking blast" and I don't think one person can tell another why to train. I won't mess with learning martial arts that could hurt me energetically by video, though. Esp. cos I have strange reactions. And cos I don't want to dabble too much in the luminous realm. I know what my luminous path is...
